Chapter 1

Pov Nick

I'm sitting in class, being bored as hell. Hi, I'm Nick. I don't have much friends, and thats fine. I like life like this, no drama. My only friends are Ashley, Jamie and Eric. Not a super big friendgroup, but its fine.

I'm not listening to the teacher who is explaining some math problems. I'm going to fail this anyway, so why listening. I'm far away, and a lot of thoughts are getting my attention. Things about my past, insecurities about the future and life. Just life. Everything in life can change 24/7. Your best mates can leave you for no reason. Your family could die out of nowhere. Life is just 1 big mystery and you never know what will happen and why that will happen. Life just wants you to accept what happens. You can't change anything about that. Thats why i say, yesterday is the past and today is a new day with a fresh start.

"Nick" i hear. I turn around, It's Eric. He looks at the teacher, who is looking at me. "So Nicholas, can you awnser this question for me please?" I panick. "Uhm, what was the question?" He smiles. "Thats what I thought. If you don't pay attention in my lesson, get out please." I look around. The whole class is looking at me. This is the part where my anxiety kicks in. "Now Nicholas!" I stand up, get my books and walk out of the class. I walk straight to the bathroom, while I'm looking to the ground

Pov Lara:

I'm walking in the hallway. Everyone has class right now, but I don't. I skipped class, because I'm not feeling it. I'm looking at the ground. When someone bumps up to me randomly. "Hey, look where you walk" he says annoyed. I look him in the eyes. "Oh, I'm sorry." I walk past him, kinda panicking
