Shot 3: I Trust You

One week had flown in a second for everyone, bringing a good news for the Oberoi's. As he requested, keeping Gauri with him during the nights, and watching her aid him had become a positive thing for Om, because now he was ready to go home as he wanted.

Despite growing a strong dislike towards Gauri, Jhanvi allowed her to stay with her son, only for him to recover and stay out of stress. She was bound to, as he had lost his memory and the Doctor did say he wasn't ready to be reminded just yet, the fear of loosing her son let Gauri be with him through the nights.

"How do you feel now?"

"Better." Omkara replied to the Doctor, while sitting on his hospital bed with cast around his arm and bandage over his forehead.

Gauri walked out of the bathroom with a clothes bag, zipping it and hanging it over her shoulder.

"That's good. Your attitude towards the treatments and the will to go home was indeed strong and seeing your wife aid you, I'm no longer worried you'll be in an awful state after you leave the hospital, that's why I'm allowing you to leave a week prior to the discharge date." He uttered with a small smile and Gauri and Omkara nodded at him, thanking him with that small nod.

"Take care." He adds, walking out afterwards and Omkara stood on his foot. Walking forward while Gauri stood next to him, walking out with him.

"I feel very bad."

"Why?"

"Because Priyanka's engagement was stopped because of me."

"What?" Gauri was confused at first but realised he had travelled two months back and shakes her head.

"Don't feel bad Omkara Ji. . . What was to happen has already happened, don't blame yourself."

"But still, how bad would she be feeling? Did the engagement break off?"

"No. . ." Gauri was thinking of an excuse that could make Omkara feel better. "They rescheduled it after your recovery." She lied, only for Omkara's sake, now apologising to her Shankar Ji under her breath.

"Hmmm."

The two stopped as soon as they saw Daksh in-front of them and Gauri looked on.

"Daksh?" Omkara surprisingly asked, and Daksh looked at him with a small smile. "How are you?"

"When did you come?"

"Two. . ." He stopped and scoffed. "Two days ago." He lied, looking at Gauri afterwards.

"This is Shivaay's friend, Daksh. . . Daksh, this is my wife Gauri."

"Yes, I met her. . ."

"Omkara Ji, you need rest, come let's go." Her tone had gotten sterner and she held Omkara's hand tightly, glaring at Daksh.

Omkara looked down at Gauri, slightly confused with the reaction she gave when she was looking at Daksh.

"I came to check on you. I'm glad to know you're perfectly walking and are fine." Daksh uttered and Omkara looked at him with a small smile.

"Are you staying at the Oberoi mansion?"

Daksh shakes his head negatively and Gauri looked at Om.
