Hannah's POV:
"Grace!!"

She was laying on the floor looking like she had just gotten punched.

She had a black eye.

I ran to her side.

What the fuck happened?

"Grace baby, wake up. Talk to me."

"Hannah..." she slurred.

"Grace what happened?"

She couldn't speak anymore so I lifted her into my arms.

I would take her back to my place and wait until she woke up. I thought about taking her to the hospital, but she didn't seem too badly hurt. And if it was something that wasn't severe, I didn't want to make a big deal.

I set her gently in the back seat and started the drive to my house.

Once I got there, I carried her to my bed and laid next to her.

Her head rested gently on my arm.

She was so small. And so fragile.

Whatever or whoever did this to her was stronger than her.

Much stronger.

I would find out what happened.

I sat there awake for a while.

There's no way that I can sleep knowing she might wake up.

I just needed to make sure that she would be okay.

Graces POV:
I woke up next to Hannah in her bed.

"Babe you're awake!"

I was confused. I don't even remember coming to bed.

Was it morning? What day is it?

Did I forget about an entire day?

"Hannah what day is it?"

Concern spread across her face.

"Do you remember what happened to you?"

What happened to me? What was she talking about?

"You went to your house to get your things to stay here. And you were taking a long time." She explained. "So I came to look for you because I was worried. When I got to your house, you were.. on the floor. Passed out."

It started coming back to me.

A little.

I drove home to get my stuff. Check.

I put tea on the stove. Check.

I went to my room... That's where it stops.

That's all I remember.

"The last thing I remember is walking into my room. I don't know what happened."

I reached my hand up to rub the sleep out of my eyes and yelped in pain.

"Gracie be careful.." She said. "You have a black eye."

"How the hell did that get there?"

"You're the only one who would know, love. How did it get there?"

"I don't know." I replied.

"Hannah am I crazy?"

"No babe. Something just must have happened. You probably fell and hit your head. Maybe you were dehydrated or hungry. It happens."

She's right, I probably just didn't have enough protein in my body.

"Will you get me something to eat? Something that doesn't have too much flavor. I'm a little nauseous."

"Yes Gracie."

Before getting up, she placed her hands on my waist.

She began to pull be close, until our foreheads were touching, and fire was shooting through my body.

She tilted my chin up and I felt her lips make contact with mine.

She held them there for a while, and my stomach fluttered when her hand moved to the small of my back, pulling me closer.

I shuddered, suddenly feeling cold.

It was her. She drove me crazy. Made my heart beat fast.

She lightly pecked me on the lips one more time.

When she released her lips from mine, she kept her hands in place for a minute, staring into my eyes.

Her eyes were such a beautiful green. It took everything I had not to pull her in for another long kiss.

But I could wait until tonight, when we fell asleep together.

Instead, i pecked her nose twice, knowing that she doesn't like odd numbers.

Before walking into the kitchen, she whispered, "Im so glad you're okay."

I blushed, and agreed with her.

"Hannah?"

"Yes Gracie?"

"I'm really excited to stay over night here." I winked.

Her cheeks turned a rosy red color, before she turned and walked into the kitchen.

On her way, she stopped and turned around to wink back at me.

My stomach jumped.

I loved her.

Every bit of her.
