Chapter 3

Five days later,  Mr. Liu meets agent Xiao Zhan at his condo he's going to sell.

"It's a nice place to live in. The units all have the huge bedrooms and kitchen. Why do you want to sell it away?" Xiao Zhan asks, out of his curiosity.

"We have more than enough properties that have been rented out. While we wanted to stay in the same house. Even my brother also prefers to live in the house, though it will takes time and too much hassles for him to go to the campus," Mr. Liu says.

"Is he driving?" Xiao Zhan asks again.

"He's riding the bike. He loves the bikes." Mr. liu smiles.

Xiao Zhan's mouth makes an "oh" shape.

"By the way, I'm living here as well. Right below your unit," Xiao Zhan informs.

"Ah? Really? That's a good coincidence!" Mr. Liu beamed.

"Good coincidence?" Xiao Zhan is confuse.

"Yea... So if there is any clients want to see the house on your off, it won't trouble you much."

Xiao Zhan lets an awkward laugh.

"Hahaha... Yes! You are right!"

Next, Mr. Liu shows Xiao Zhan the house and enters every room in the house. After they are done, they bid their farewell and resume their activities.

Mr. Liu was talking on the phone when his step brother enters his room without knocking.

"Who are you talking to?" Yibo asks when he sees his step brother's face beams.

"Mother," Mr. Liu answers.

"I want to talk to her too!" Yibo jumps.

"Wait! We're talking bussiness!" Mr. Liu pushers Yibo when Yibo tries to snatches the phone.

Yibo is pouting. Then he sits on the table in front of his step brother.

"Yes! We're going to sell it, Mother. The agent is prety good. He has a good rank in selling the properties, and in a short time, too.  Maybe because of his charm."

"..."

"Yes,  yes, Mother. I know... I'll put the money in Yibo:s account after the selling successful."

"..."

Mr. liu laughs. Yibo get allerts.

"Yeah.... You know that agent Xiao Zhan? He has the charm. Maybe his bright cute smile which makes the clients didn't hesitate to use his skill."

Yibo's ears perked up when he hears Xiao Zhan's name. This doesn't go unnoticed by Mr. liu who glances at him.

"Mother... why do you even bother to ask?" Mr. Liu is a little annoyed with his mother antique.  "He came from Chongqing. Now he stays right below our unit we are going to sell. Arrrggghhh.... Hahaha!" Suddenly he laughs awkwardly, realizing his mistake slipping the words in front of his step brother. He turns to Yibo who now is grinning, full of secret plans.

"Hai Ge... Love you!" He says full of excitement.

Mr. Liu mouthed him, " Don't you even dare to think about it" words.

Yibo just snatches the phone from his brother's grip and takes over the conversation,' Mom! I love you! Enjoy your honeymoon with Dad! Say hi to Daddy Hitler!' he shouts and returns the phone to his brother. "I gotta go!" And he dashes out of the room, without waiting for his brother's lecture after this .

"Oh, dear...  I guess Xiao Zhan's peaceful days come to an end..." He muttered the words.

Liu Haikuan is the oldest son of  Zhang Hwa Lin, the only daughter of a tycoon bussinessman in China. She inherited all the wealth from his father who already a disease. She continued her father's bussiness and became a success bussiness woman. Liu Haikuan born from her first marriage with an artist. But they got divorced when Liu Haikuan was 4 years old. Then a year later she remarried with a bussiness man from Zhengzhou, Henan province. And from their marriage they've been blessed  with a baby, Wang Yibo,the next year.

Even though they are only half brothers, their relation is as close as a real brothers. Liu Haikuan is very concern with Wang Yibo's well being. Their age gap is 6 years. Now Yibo is a college student age 20.

Yibo is scrolling Xiao Zhan's Instagram profile through his computer in his room. The weird grins never leaves his face.

"I didn't know I will so attracted to a man. I thought I was as straight as a steel... I have no idea this cutie able.to bend me in no time..." He.murmurs.

Back to the present...

Today is Xiao Zhan's day off. He wants to spend his day off by curling lazily in his bed, without caring the sun that already comes higher and brighter.

His peaceful sleep is interrupted when a loud thud can be heard. Xiao Zhan opens his eyes and squinted to the sunlight which is peeking through the slit if the curtains.

THUD!

It's like someone throwing a heavy box on the floor. It comes from upstairs, right on top of his unit.

"Shit! He moves in already today..." Xiao Zhan groaning. He pulls his blanket over his head. But the loud thuds keep coming into his ears.

"What an annoying rich brat!" Xiao Zhan shouts  desperately. He pulls the blanket down, then throws it beside. He climbs out of the bed and walks to the bathroom.

"I don't care... I don't want to welcome him even he is my client. I don't want him to know that I'm living in the same building as him..." Xiao Zhan grunts while he is peeing.

Then a sound like things being scattered can be heard.

"Ugh! Why so noisy?" Xiao Zhan growls. He grabs a toothbrush and tooth paste. He starts to brush his teeth, while his ears are perk up hearing every noise created by the new neighbour upstairs.

"I wish it would be last one day only. Otherwise he can destroy my peaceful life...."

Then he goes to the kitchen to brew some coffee and make a toast.
He eats slowly, listening the noise from upstair which happens continuesly until late afternoon.

Xiao Zhan sighs in relief when he doesn't:t hear any noise from upstairs until quite a bit. He gets up from the couch and straighten his body, plans to go to take a nap, when he startled with the sound of somebody playing the drums.

"Oh! Heaven! Give me a mercy! " He growls.

"Well.... Welcome, Neighbor. Bye bye my peaceful life! Bastard!' he curses and throw himself back on the couch.
