Y/n's POV
Today's the first day of school. No matter how much I begged my parents still made me go. They said it would be fun but little do they know how shitty school can be. Now I'm not popular but I'm not a loser I kinda just invisible. People don't even notice I'm there. It cool 'cause I can hear everything from gossip to personal secrets. But it hurts because I have no friends and I'm super lonely. Well better to be lonely than get bullied.
My thoughts stop as I stand in front of the school. How much I wish this place would explode. I notice the Heathers and Veronica standing near the door keeping all the 'nerds' out. Then I notice I new kid. Instantly I see Veronica staring at him but his eyes are locked on me. I start blushing he looks like he's checking me out. Why? He starts to walk toward me. I see hatred burning in Veronica's eyes as she sees me. He reaches me and smiles.
"Greetings and salutations."
"Uh hello my names Y/n and you are?"
"Jason Dean but call me jd."
"Nice to meet you but looks like I won't get to know you."
He looked confused and a little disappointed. But maybe I'm just imagining that part. I point to Veronica.
"I think shes planning my death."
He laughs. His laugh is really nice. Wait focus you can't start thinking that with someone you just met.
"I won't let her hurt you."
"Looks like she has other plans."
She storms over fuming. She turns to jd.
"Hey I'm Veronica."
"I've heard."
"Do you want to sit with me at lunch I mean I don't want you to be lonely."
I really want to kill Veronica. Too bad I left my gun at home. I give Veronica a look that says 'fuck off or your dead'. She seemed scared so she said bye and walked off. Jd turned to me with a smile unlike the one he gave Veronica this one was real.
"People must be scared of she ran after you looked at her."
"People aren't scared of me I just off that vibe."(I was doing so good but it just going down hill)
"So wanna get 7/11 after school?"(you know what's funny 7/11 doesn't exist in Ohio anymore at least not where I live)
"Sure"
Little did I know agreeing to that was gonna change my life.
