You and Spinel were invited to a slumber party at Stevens house. You were walking there right as we speak. "You excited for your fist slumber party Spinel?" You asked, holding your bag close to you. Watching Spinel slowly get used to earth and how it functions, watching how she attempts to get along with others, watching her do human activities with you like sleeping and eating. It's been about an hour and the sun has already set, it was 9:00, "okay guys it's time for our first game of the night!" Steven shouted grasping everyones attention. "What are we playing?" Pearl asked "Well it's a classic! We're playing seven minutes in heaven!" Your eyes widened, a blush spread across your face, you felt a tap on your shoulder. You looked it was non other then Spinel "heya what's seven minutes in heaven?" She whispered. "Well it's-" your sentence was cut off "good question Spinel! You all sat in a circle, Spinel purposely sat across from you to let any suspicion be settled. The whole time names were being called you weren't paying attention, all of it was on Spinel and all of her attention was on you. He lied, he didn't even pick names he just pretended to. You and Spinel got up and headed to the dark closet. Closing the door behind you two, you heard the door lock from the outside. "Your time starts now guys!"
You looked up at her, the light from the cracks of the door illuminated only parts of her face. You smiled and grabbed the collar of her shirt, pulling her to you. You ran after her, finding her on the beach, her legs tucked in her chest, you heard faint sobbing. You felt your heart sink, you had no idea that she'd react this way. You slowly walked up to her, contemplating if you should talk to her. Once you were right behind her, "was this your plan?" You heard her voice tremble, "..what?" You confused, what did she mean plan? "You embarrassed yourself! You embarrassed me! Was this what you wanted?!" She screamed at you, you felt yourself drop onto the soft sand, you felt your tears roll down your cheeks "n-no I didn't mean for this to happen Spinel I-" you cut off but a hard slap to the face. You eyes widened, your cheek stung badly. You didn't dare look up at her, fearful she would do it again. "I-I'm sorry Spinel I just, I love you so much I didn't mean to embarrass you please I'm so sorry" you cried into your hands.
She stared at you with a hateful glare, but seeing you so sad made her heart crumble. Her eyes widened once she realized that this is exactly how pink left her. You looked up at her, your eyes red from tears, you cupped your cheek that she slapped. She saw the look of pain in your eyes, the feeling of loneliness and abandonment. Her facial expression softened, she sat on the sand in front of you. Her arms carefully wrapped around you, she pulled you close to her, hugging you close. You held her in your trembling arms. "I'm sorry (Y/N), I never meant to hurt you.." she whispered in your ear, she pet your hair, attempting to sooth you.
You pulled away from the hug and gave her a quick kiss "I love you Spinel, don't ever forget that" you said, she wiped a few of your tears away "and I love you doll"
