"Honey are you listening to what I'm saying to you right now?" My mother asked me as she made my lunch as she went over our week plans, so I nod my head in agreement that yes I'm totally listening when I was zoning off into another dimension. "You have a swim meat tomorrow, your presenting your Language Arts story tomorrow in class on the same day, a sleepover after the meet and you are gonna go see a movie during the sleepover." Weeks were always like this, big projects, swim meets, sleepovers, I can never catch a break just for me. "Should I go over Wednesday or do that tomorrow for you?" I shake my head no and run upstairs, this is the only time I get to me these days. I start my homework but that doesn't help at all. "Let's see 12 problems for Math, a three page packet for Language Arts, a bubble map for Social Studies, and a graph for science." Then it occurs to me that I have way to much homework, like do the other teachers talk about what the homework is in each class so they can I don't know make it more manageable? Then I check my phone to see that the swim team groups chat, had just reminded me that we give our gifts to each other on Wednesday and Mom and I still have to buy the gift, then I get a text from my friend saying they have a birthday party on Saturday which is the same day I have private violin lessons. I have no choice but to just push through and do the homework actually let me rephrase that, barley finish the homework and try to get to bed at a reasonable time just to wake up again at 7:30 am the next morning. I wake up with a banging head ache and it hurts to open my eyes, it hurts to hear my alarm going off, but it doesn't hurt to get my dog's kisses.
I get up with a groan and moan as usual except with a extra groan cause of the painful headache that I know sadly have. I walk downstairs to see that my mom put a banana for me to eat, so I do and I also make myself some oatmeal with it and take a seat at the dining room table. I hurry to get my backpack down, IPad check, binder check, swimback, check, suit, goggles team cap check, math notebook check, story for Language Arts check, all of the homework check. Ok every thing is in and ready to go I go outside to find that it's raining so I run back inside grab a blue umbrella and keep walking and finally make it to the bus to realize that, I forgot my violin at home, and thing is the bus is already going to the next stop. I hate being to busy sometimes, great way to start the morning.
