It's been 2 and a half weeks since the incident at the club. I quit to avoid seeing Tay, and anytime I thought about that bitch I got pissed. My house was a mess, my life was a mess and I completely gave up. I laid on my couch getting ready to open a bottle of wine, when my doorbell rung. I groaned and walked to the door. I opened it to see Priest.

My brain didn't even register what was happening. He said you good? I rolled my eyes and looked up. He touched my chin and said Egypt. I started crying. I couldn't help it and I doubted Priest could understand. He embraced me in his arms and swayed with me. "Georgia was my girl, she been around since I was 17, a little before the money started flowing. I invested in her. I loved her but I couldn't really stick with just one woman I love them, but it didn't change the fact that she was always the only one. She even suggested threesomes and having another girl in the mix. When I saw you at the club the first night we were on the verge of breaking up. Or at least I was, she was already gone." I sighed and said no disrespect but why the hell you telling me this, someone telling me he gonna cheat- "hush and let me finish. When I saw you I felt nothing for her. All I could think about was your warm honey skin and bright eyes. I even pulled strings to know you before approaching you." I stepped back and held open my door. He said it's not like that. I had a friend help me out and she really cares about your crazy ass. I sighed and said Layla. He said I also kinda sorta promised her I'd make sure I keep you happy and safe since you decided to ghost everyone. I closed my door and said ignore the mess. I'm going to lay down again. He grabbed my hand and said no. Talk to me. You got me here for a reason. I sniffled before I said anything. "I've been with Terayle since I was 16, I lost my virginity to him and we were literally inseparable. He met my father and they were close I still haven't even told him we're not together anymore." He said why what's stopping you? I said I'm not sure I'm even over this. He said so let me help you move on to something better, something different. I walked around the house and cleaned while listening to him. "Who gave you my address anyway?" He smiled and spoke I was gonna get it from Layla but I already had it due to a tab that was held on Tay. I said follow me. We went to the bedroom. He said I'd sleep all day too if I fit directly in the center of my bed but we not sleeping no more, my size was cute to him. I walked in my closet and came out with something comfy to wear. He sat on the bed and waited. I went to the bathroom and turned on the water. I stripped and sung Girls Need Love Too while standing beneath the water. The steam filled the room quicker than expected. After what felt like 30 minutes I got out and brushed my teeth and combed my hair. I came out to a spotless bedroom.
It was a note on the bed. I read it as I got dressed. "You have 15 minutes, meet me outside". I styled my hair and grabbed my phone. I cut off the lights and a horn beeped outside.

I went out to see Priest standing in front of his black Jeep. He smiled and said today we're going to learn everything about each other. Inside and out I want to know who I'm trying to give my heart to, at least until the wheels fall off anyways. I locked my door and walked to him. "First lunch I know this great taco place." I hopped in the truck and buckled up as he closed the door. As he drove down the road he said I wanna hear everything from your mouth, everything about you. Who's the real you? I sighed and said where do I start? He pulled into a parking lot and said when we get a table and a drink. He opened my door and said indoor or patio? I looked at the sun and smiled, "patio". We went to the patio of the restaurant and ordered our drinks and viewed the menu. I sipped from my frozen strawberry henny and said alright you ready? Priest nodded and silenced his phone and said just us, no interruptions. "My name is Egypt Isis Ayers, E for short. I'm 21 and 4'11, I'm an Aries, born April 10th. I don't know my mother and my father is.. he's what you call.. the boss. He used to help Tay now we're not together, I've told him to stop. I haven't told him why, but I'm supposed to have dinner with him tomorrow so he'll find out." He nodded and sipped his water. I smiled as the waiter brought our plates. "Wow, I've never seen you smile like that." He laughed at me. I said food always heals my heart, but tell me about you. What I need to know. "My name is Trevor Jackson, I'm 24 and my birthday is August 23rd. I'm 6'2 and currently the closest family I have is my brother and the crew. I like to think of myself as a book. You only know what you read. I giggled. He chewed his food and said what wassup? I leaned over and kissed him licking the cheese on his lip. He kissed back and sat back. I said hmm so what else do I need to know? He chuckled and said besides being one of the most notorious dealers in Georgia? I couldn't stop laughing. "I'm sorry you dated a girl named Georgia from Georgia, that didn't raise a flag?" He chuckled and said first of all let's not throw shots you gonna end up hurt or paying for your own food. I threw my hands in surrender and said ok can we get outta here, food only occupies the need to cry for a little while. He paid the the bill and we went to the truck. "So do you trust me?" I looked at him as if he was crazy and said why? He said just answer. I nodded and said at this point why not? Of course. He said good. He sped out of the parking lot and down the road. I yawned and said where to next? He turned up the music and said just ride out with me ma. I nodded and eventually ended up dozing off.
