|July 4th, 2011 Baltimore Maryland: party at Justin Segiel's house 6:30pm|

*Ramona's pov*

After hours of begging I finally gave into Hayley's request and went to the stupid fourth party at her friend Justin's house. On the drive there I complained the entire time.

"What's the point of me going? I'm not going to know anyone." I sunk into the passengers seat.

"Make some fucking friends then Mona. Besides I need a sober person to drive me home." Hayley said.

"What the fuck Hayley! I wanted to drink tonight." I yelled.

"Hey you owe me after New Year's." She argued.

"Oh wow you're never going to let that one go are you

?" I asked rhetorically.

"Probably not. Now shush we're here." Hayley said parking next to the curb.

I groaned as I pushed the car door open and shuffled my way to the door. Hayley knocked on front with some force and waited until someone answered. Moments later an awkward nerdy lookin dude answered who I assumed was Justin.

"Hayley what's up?" He asked cheerfully.

"Hey Justin. I brought my friend Ramona with me." Hayley grinned stepping slightly to the left to introduce me.

"Hi." I smiled politely and gave a small wave.

"Nice to meet you. Come in you guys." Justin said stepping aside to let us pass.

I followed behind Hayley making our way inside. The house looked bigger on the inside with its open concept and nice hardwood floors. There were a lot of people in the space all which I didn't know. I felt a need to cling to Hayley but when I turned around she was gone. Not to mention I had to resist the urge to rushing over into the kitchen and drinking all the alcohol available. Instead I grabbed a bottle of water and wandered around the house. After a while I didn't even bother looking for Hayley she was probably having fun and I didn't want to ruin that. I went inside the bathroom and shut the door behind me. It was so loud out there that I needed some quiet time. I looked in the mirror checking to see if my makeup was still okay. Not that it'd make a difference I'm not here to impress anyone. My makeup was still in perfect tact. I turned away and began looking through my phone; honestly I could spend all day in here but people will need to use the bathroom eventually so I can't.

There was a sudden tap on the door I looked up and shouted, "be out in a sec."

I shoved my phone back into my pocket and ditched the empty water bottle I was carrying. I took one final look at myself then proceeded to the door. When I opened it up I was greeted with a pair a dark brown puppy eyes that quiet frankly caught me off guard. I looked away from the eyes and focused on the person whom they belonged to. Standing in front of me was a tall lanky dude with a big nose and scruffy beard. He wore a grey v-neck which resembled a part of a tattoo, black skinny jeans that may as well be a second skin for him and, black and purple Nike high tops. His hair was the color dark brown with an emo fringe and it stuck up in the back. He was cute but not really my type. He gave me this look though, just something about his eyes that got you lost.

"Sorry." He said.

"It's cool." I grinned slightly and slid past him.

I wasn't about to make small talk with some guy who needed to use it. I had to find a new hiding place since the bathroom was occupied. I thought about a bedroom but someone might want a quick handy and need the privacy. I gave up on my search and just sat at the top of the stairs.
