Minzy was busy working her late shift at the flower shop. She dealt with many returned customers who were either completely satisfied or completely picky about the choices they had made days before. Some were scrambling to remember what their significant other actually wanted while others contemplated on which lovely carnations were better expressed through their personalities.
One customer in particular was disheveled and needed a last minute chance to make things right with his lover due to how much be rambled on about her leaving him for being very self absorb in his finances and work.
Minzy watched as he ran up to her when she was observing the area around the flower shop. Mainly escorting and helping customers find what the may have been looking for.
"Hi! um....I need help."
Minzy, who waved bye to one of her customers focused her attention on the male before her with a smile.
"Yes, how can I help you?"
He breathed out a sigh and continued.
"I need to buy my girlfriend some flowers that says....I'm sorry and will never do it again," his eyes were panic like and he seemed in a hurry.
Minzy was rolling her eyes inside because in the back of her mind, this was definitely the tenth person (mainly males) who had came and said the same thing. Yes she counted the times. Also she wondered as long as she works here how long would it take to beat the record of 'I need a quick fix to get him/her back?'
If she was to truthfully answer it'll either be "Get it together, break up or go to a jewelry store and buy diamonds instead of flowers."
She just felt like flowers were made to be cliche' now when they are suppose to be bought out of sincerity and pure love. Not just a back up plan. She blames the people like him who comes into her store for changing the connotation and what she perceived it to be a genuine gesture.
Instead she just smiles and points to some lilies gaining a surprised look in return.
"What are those exactly?"
"Lilies."
He paused as if trying to understand her choice.
"What kind of lady is she to you?" Minzy asked.
"Well, she is delicate and.....sensitive but gentle at heart. However she shouldn't be underestimated. She has her inner strength."
Minzy nodded in response.
"I see. what flower do you best see her being?"
The male paused and thought about it a little longer than she expected.
"She reminds me of a sun flower..." He said softly.
"Interesting..." Minzy directed him to the front of the shop closer by the Windows.
"You see sun flowers as being delicate?"
He nodded.
"Actually I think all flowers are."
Minzy smiled as she rung him up and passed him his change.
"Well go get her tiger. And goodluck."
"Thanks," he yells running out the door.
What an interesting guy she thought as she started closing up the shop.

"lets go shopping!" Dara says excitedly pulling at Minzys arm.
It was an early morning weekend and the two girls just finish breakfast. They sat on the floor, spending a moment flipping through their phones. Minzy actually glad that she didn't have any classes (which she did part time due to her working full time at the flower shop). All she wanted to do was lay up and watch movies. But she should have known that was out of the question having her room mate Dara around to get her up and moving.
