just when I thought it was over,
just when I feel better,
the pain of her and the past,
the fears of her silence come back,

a touch, a hug, a feeling,
the first in months,
but it feels like shes always been there,
a wave courses through me,
the doubt is gone, the fear comes back,

the energy from our bodies,
the smell of her sweater,
it all brings back a shock,
a tsunami of leaves,
the leaves of my love

just when I thought,
that she was gone, that I could move on,
her smell of memories brings back,
how we enjoyed, laughed, cried,
in the others arms,
just when I thought,
that I was okay, her deep eyes pull me back,
the curves in her addicting,
the melancholy behind her eyes,
pulls me back.

a rush of feeling, a rush of touch,
remembering and realizing,
what I had been avoiding,
impatient thoughts fill my mind,
of her.

previous thoughts gone,
uncertainty vanished,
love arising in waves,
she is not the solution,
she is not the problem, but rather
she is the energy supporting a smile,
she is the calm of the night,
she is not the moon, rather she is the stars,
bright and illuminating my eyes,
her smell on my clothes,
her smile on my mind,
yet all I know is her again,
her unforgettable being,
haunts me like the sun haunts a flower.

I'm drowning and she is my air,
she fills my lungs with youth and care,
how could I live without her,
for before her, I was not living.
