"Happy Birthday!" Johnny yelled as he walked into Taeyong's new office.
Taeyong only glanced up from the mission files, seeing his member in a cone party hat and a bright smile on his face.
Looking back down he only said, "You look like a warning sign and it's not my birthday yet."
Johnny, ever so stubborn, replied, "Well it's easier to combine the parties instead of having two in the same week." Then he walked out.
But not before dropping a cone hat on his desk.
NCT has finally gotten a new base, deciding to move when having finished their mission.
"Let's get my party started." Haechan yelled out as he dragged Mark to the 'dance floor'. AKA the living room.
Tsu only watched them past, the rest of the Dreamies following along, wanting to record this for blackmail purposes.
She turned back to the rest of the team, all of them already having activities to do.
As she was looking for her own, she saw Taeyong walk out of the dining room and up the stairs.
She followed along.
"Your not mentally insane are you?" Tsu asks as they stand together on a balcony. 'Red Flavor' was playing faintly in the background, reminding them that this was an occasion of celebration.
Taeyong chuckled, remembering all the work Taeil and Johnny had to do to get a fake diagnosis into the system. Not to mention all the other prep NCT did as a whole for the 4 month mission.
"No I am not." He replied in his husky voice. He was looking up, just gazing at the stars.
He expected more questions, and he was right.
"What was the original plan?" She asked further.
"What is this, confession time?" Taeyong joked, earning a playful glare from Tsu.
"We received intel that the Yakuza had their eyes on us. For what? We weren't sure." He started.
"But that didn't matter because we had a game plan anyway." He continued as he looked towards Tsu, only to find her already looking his way.
"We were gonna use the operative as bait and follow the chain of events from there, string them along."
He then turned back towards the moonlight. Liking how it illuminated the new base.
"But we didn't expect for them to play along." He said, obviously hinting at Tsu.
Tsu rolled her eyes, but couldn't stop the smile from reaching her lips, daring to rise up to her eyes.
"What can I say," She said while moving closer towards Taeyong.
She stopped right in front of his figure, daring him to turn.
"I'm just full of surprises." She said as she watched him turn around with disinterest. But the twinkle in his eye told her otherwise.
Taeyong looked down at her frame, right into her hazel eyes. He didn't move nor did he plan to.
"Likewise."
