There are some things you will never forget.

Some things like the faces of people that have done thing to tear you apart, things that were meant to break you.

No matter what you do, you can't forget what happened and you don't know why you still even care.

You don't know why you still care about the boy that said things that made you cry, that turned people against you, and showed no mercy.

The boy that broke you.

You went by for years thinking about him, seeing him in the hallways, putting up with the abuse.

"You're worthless."

His words still linger in your ears.

"Who will ever love you?"

Nobody. Who would want a wreck like me?

The girl with the scars. The mental scars that just don't seem to fade.

You see, people don't realize that their words hurt, they don't realize that their words will affect someone, they don't realize that their words and actions are the reasons for scars on another persons body.

When you get a cut, it leaves a scar, It's no different in life. When someone hurts you, you'll remember, when someone says something to hurt you, it'll leave a scar... because memories don't fade easily. They stay until the very end, you'll always remember the face that broke you, the face that tore you apart.

The face that made you cry at night and scream into your pillow, the face that drove you crazy with anger, the face that turned your world into something gray and dull.

Nothing is beautiful anymore.

But I assure you, even if memories don't fade easily, even if they stay with you forever.

Things will get better.

And for those of you that don't realize that words hurt, remember.

Never, ever be the reason for scars on somebody elses body, it'll come back to you.
