Summer camp

Chapter 2

As I was driving I saw the sign that says Portage Lake Covenant Bible Camp. I turned my car on to that dirt road. Once I got to the parking lot I parked the car got my bags and went to my cabin the I would be sharing with my others friends that are on staff. I opened the door and saw them all talking while making there beds and such.
"CHLOE!" Colleen said as she ran up to give me a hug.
"Hi" I said
I went over to the bed and put my bags on top. I looked over and saw Sara on the sitting on the ground with everyone else, patting on the ground for me to sit with her. I walked over and sat down and we all started talking.

"Hey guys we need to get to our spots for all the campers" Alli said.

We all got up and walked out the door

"Where are you going again?" Sara asked me

"The canteen" I said back "good luck with the kids" "thanks" she said as she went in the direction of her cabin. She is a cabin buddy for the same cabin as me. Colleen is the councilor for our cabin.

I get to the canteen start helping and the kids and there parents.

"Do you guys need anymore help?" I asked mike. Mike is another staff member who works in the canteen.

"No we are all good. You can go meet your cabin" he said

"Ok see you later" I said as I started walking towards the cabin.

I opened the door of our cabin and saw Sara, Colleen and the 9 campers that are in our cabin all sitting in a circle.

"Hey" I said

"Guys this is our other cabin buddy chloe" Colleen said

"We are just telling each other our name, age, what we like to do, family, and how many years we have been going to this camp, oh and also cause you work here what you do in staff" Colleen said

I walked over to the circle and sat down

"I'm Chloe I'm 18 and I like to draw, do special fx make up, and hang out with friends. I have two older half brothers. I have been going here for like 7 or 8 years and I work at the canteen and of course your cabin buddy" I said

Then everyone else shared
