I screamed in pain. My whole being was trying to fight the pain away. I squeezed my eyes shut andwas trying to get away from everything but someone held me down. I heard soothing words and a cold piece of cloth on my forehead. Then only darkness again.
Again I was awoken because of the excruciating pain. I whimpered, not having the strength to scream anymore. Soothing words again but this time from another voice. I didn't know if I recognized it, I was to far out. I welcomed the darkness ones again.

When I woke up the third time the pain was still there but slightly numbed. I still couldn't open my
eyes. "What is this pain? Am I in hell?" I croaked my voice raw from screaming. "Not yet,
sweetheart." I heard Chris. He sounded serious.
"Are you sending me there then?" I heard him chuckle and felt a stroke on my cheek but couldn't hold on to my focus and drifted away again.
It was different this time I woke up. I opened my eyes and I instantly noticed the pain had gone. I was also able to see things clearly around me. I acctualy felt fit and rested.
"How are you, sweetheart?"
In the chair next to the bed I was lying in sat Chris. He had a smirk on his face. "How good of you to
finally wake up. You have been out cold for at least four days."
"Four days?" I tried to remember what had happened.

"Oh my god, Levi?"
"He is fine, thanks to you. He is actually talking about you right now to his parents." He laughed.
"What? Why?" I was confused as hell and it seemed like Chris was enjoying himself.
"Well, they need to be introduced to you of course. You saved their son after all. And of course he is planning on spending the rest of eternally with you." He said as if it was obvious.
"What happened?"
"Levi drained you completely. I knew he would never wanted to life without you, so I decided to
change you, you know, in case your foolish rescue attempt worked."
"You just said he was fine, so I don't think my rescue attempt was foolish." I humpht and crossed my arms around my chest.
He chuckled "Why don't you come out of bed and go see him? You are done changing so you should be fine." He said handing me a glass with red fluids. "You must be thirsty." Then he pointed at some clean clothes on the bed and left the room.
I downed the drink --I got used to this faster then I thought-- and searched around the room for a bathroom. When I found one I took a quick shower and pulled on the clean clothes. I then walked out the big Victorian style doors and was surprised to see a man waiting for me at the door. "My lady, I am your guard, Phillip. Lord Christopher has asked me to bring you to the prince as soon as you came out." He said with a bow.
Ok, things just got weird again. Couldn't life just stay the same for like one second? Who was this
prince? I was really hoping it would not be Levi, but my gut feeling told me otherwise.
"Are you joking?" I asked. The man looked at me, clearly confused but turned around without an
answer.
"This way, Lady Rivers." He said, trying to avoid my question.
"Don't call me Lady, it feels weird." I told Phillip, but he was still ignoring me.
He took me to another pair of big doors and opened them. He went in first and he motioned me to wait.
"Lady Livia Rivers." He then announced and waved to me to walk in. I glared at him.
"Would you like not do that?" I hissed annoyed while giving Philip a little push out the door.
I heard a chuckle behind me and two arms wrapped around me. The scent gave away immediately
who was standing behind me. I turned around in his arms and I cried with joy as I hugged Levi.
"I thought you were going to die." I said when I broke the hugg still with tears in my eyes.
"I would have if you didn't do such an idiotic and irrational thing."
"You clearly talked to Chris." I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, he did. And if it weren't for me you would be dead now, sweetheart." Chris warned with a
smirk. "You know, I am actually responsible for you now, because I created you. So please try and not kill anyone or something." He smiled at me.
I wondered what that would mean. Would he have to stay around to help me adjust? Not that I
needed it. I had been a vampire for almost a year now, I didn't even feel different then before. It did make me wonder how much I actually did change.
"Hm, and ruin a good change of getting you into trouble? I will have to think about that." I smirked back. I would not forget the fact that he had been trying to convince Levi to kill me back there. But somehow, I could never hold a grudge against Chris. He had a though act going on, but I knew he was a sweet man underneath.
I heard someone clear his throat next to Chris. My eyes met with someone who looked allot like Levi. Only his hair was a little lighter and his eyes were silvery blue. A beautiful woman stood next to him with a big smile. She had long black hair and brown eyes. They both looked around our age, maybe a little older.
"Oh, these are Levi's parents by the way." Chris smirked. I was confused for a second, they looked so young. Being a Vampire does have its upsides.
"Christopher, stop teasing the girl." Levi's mother said sweetly and she elegantly strode towards me and gave me a big hug.
"Thank you for saving my son, and for finally stepping into his life. We were already giving up on
him." She said. "My name is Celestina. This is my husband Armand."
I was speechless. "Oh, eh. Well no problem, happy I could help." I said and I instantly regretted it. Wow, nice going Livia. Really, perfect first sentence to say to the mother of the
love of your life. Make it look like it was nothing. Chris burst out in laughter, Levi's father chuckled and I heard a smothered giggle from his mom.
"She doesn't know, does she?" I heard his father say to Levi.
"Levi, secrets? Never. Always telling me everything." I said, sarcasm dripping from my voice.

"Come, let us sit down and have some diner. Levi has all the time in the world later to tell you everything."
