I was only two when it happened, I was found by a small creak my arm almost falling off, from what seems like an animal bite. They took me to the hospital and successfully kept my arm on my body, somehow. I had to go home as I didn't know how to do much of anything anyway but even in my small brain I knew that my life will never be normal with my mother and father. I had a little voice they seemed to know so much more than me and helped me sometimes, but he doesn't help at school much, except when I get something terribly wrong he just chuckles at me and then I try again and usually get it right the second time. He still helps some times like getting me out of bed in the morning or working on my work in school, but its been 14 years since that bite and I've gotten used to the voice in my head. About three years after that incident I had gone through something I'd rather not speak of let's just say it was very painful and it changed everything. Now I'm in my junior year of high school and I have yet to tell anyone of my voice or where I go after school.
"Hayden are you listening?" oh that me, by the way, I'm Hayden Ura Mycle, yes I know don't point it out.
"yes, sorry Mis. Hasson" I tell her as I look up not longer talking to my self.
'I don't like her' I hear from the wolf sitting in my head slightly growling at the teacher, I just smirk this only aggravating him more. He has run me through many workouts so I am not fat or chubby, but I like to be lazy every now and then. Since I have a higher metabolism I can go through a lot of food before getting full, like the rest of my family, but they gain weight and I don't.
'you don't like anyone' I sigh at him putting what I need down on the paper for the class. I can feel his angst in my head as he pouts at me, I know he's many years older than me but we are both kinda playful with each other when its only us. I zone back into the class as she explains something I already know so I bring out my sketchbook, and draw a bit for my free time but then I hear Lex yell at me.
'get up!' he yells I stand perplexed at this new command I see the class looking at me with confusion 'move, go, get out of here!' he yells again I seem confused about my own actions.
"I'm going to the bathroom," I tell the teacher as I walk out as my face goes blank 'where am I going?' I question him as we walk out of school. I can feel him trying to take control.
'let me' he tells me as I easily let him take control staying in our human form, as we make our way to the pond we were found 14 years ago, and he gives me back control as I duck behind a tree watching the interaction in front of me.
"where is that mutt!" one yells a the other, as he seems to either have more experience or is a higher rank.
"Sorry sir, we will find him" they all spread out throughout my own little territory. I can feel Lex getting mad that they are invading our home or well territory. We watch as they traverse our land wandering around like a pup.
"those dumb pups" I hear the head guy say as they don't seem to look at anything really. I can feel Lex on the verge of shifting us and I freeze.
'Lex no!' I tell him as we stand there, now more focused on not shifting than my surroundings. I make sure to focus my body in case they find us.
'let me at them, I'll rip them a new one for stepping on our land' he howls out at them as we sit there. Not long after he yells and, I start talking to him I feel something behind us and I zone back in the. guy was still there but one of the guys searching was gone, I continue to watch the lead guy while the one behind me sneaks closer. Then I can tell he is going to pounce on me and... he does I meet the ground with Lex going crazy for me not stopping him as I struggle under him like a human.
"boss I found something" the guy on top of me yells out to the boss guy, he comes running over not long after the guy yells, looking at me as I weakly struggle under him. I smell human due to just coming from school so as I see his nose twitch I inwardly smirk at their idiocy.
"it's just a hu-pedestrian let them go," he tells the guy on top of me, and I feel him get off as I stand.
"what even are you guys doing?" I ask making sure to keep Lex out of my sent .
"Nothing you need to worry about, get back to school," he tells me not leaving any room for an argument, so I just huff and turn around and walk away. Listening to their conversation as I leave.
"boss you sure?" the grunt asks as he might have other ideas for me as I'd ever let that happen.
"Yeah what are they going to do," he tells him "tell other humans and get her self in trouble for being out of school?" the lead guy builds then yells at all of them.
"Get back to work!"
