"you are much more important," I tell him my hand firmly on his face and him closing his eyes slightly still watching me
"H-Hyad-den?" he asks me his stutter slowly disappearing but his face still relaxed in my hand
"yes, Collen?" I replied my voice soft to him and my body crouched to him
"a-are you m-my m-mate?" he asks calming down his stutter disappearing with my presence I smiled at him as he slowly falls asleep with my hand on his face I remove my hand and stand up looking over to the 'queen' keeping my posture
"Why did you bring me here?" I ask her changing my voice but not my volume as I talk to her I move closer to her my wolf on edge not being able to hold our hurt mate she gives me a sad smile
"your picture. looks just like him" she tells me "and I wanted you too..." we hear footsteps above us stomping to the exit she pulls me to another cell where we hide as the door opens and someone stomps down towards the cell with Collen
"Hello little omega~" he purrs out and Collen shoots up watching him slightly looking around for us
"y-y-yes a-al-ph-a" he stutters shaking at him his face showing the fear
"you know what I want?" 'alpha' Jax asks opening his cell with a key from around his neck. I see Collen look around again for us but this time looking right at the spot we were hiding he softly smiles, glad we have yet to be seen. The alpha doesn't catch this as he was busy putting the key on the wall that I quickly snatch from the wall taking the key off as fast as I can, and changing it with the house key I had got. as we hear moaning from behind us from the cell as I put the key chain back on the wall. I look over to see Collen wiping his face watching me from the corner of his eye, and 'alpha' Jax with his head to the ceiling in bliss. I feel Jax getting progressively agitated, his growling getting louder in my head as we hide again. I look over to the 'queen' her face blank as she stood there we hear alpha Jax leaves the cell locking the cell again.
"We need to leave" I hear the 'queen' whisper quiet enough for him not to hear as he leaves not saying anything to Collen and he leaves the man to his cell. we come out of our hiding place I look at him walking up to his cell sitting on the floor by it
"you... okay?" I ask him as he looks away from me looking at the floor
"I-I'm f-fine" he mumbles not looking at me and I reach threw the bars holding my hand out to him
"Collen I will get you out of here," I tell him my face going cold at the thought of 'alpha Jax' I turn to leave but I feel Collen looking at my back I can tell his face is sad as we trudge up the stairs to get out not wanting to stay in fear of getting caught but I listen back in on his cell to hear his small whimpers as I fully exit the dungeons
"what do you think?" the 'queen' asks me not watching me as we walk to where we left the other girls
"I want to rip his throat out" I mumble under my breath not wanting to know what she thinks of it
" I agree with you" she continues as we get to where we left the girls to now see it empty "but we and do anything right now" she sighs at me turning around to look at me
"I know that, but I won't be able to stay away long" I sigh knowing Jax will make us go down there again soon
"Just remember to stay hidden" she smiles at me keeping her fake alpha posture and confidence on
"you don't seem to like your mate?" I ask her as she agreed on me ripping his throat out she sighs at me looking away
"he is not my mate, rather my brother" she revealed to me a sad smile on her face "I don't wish him dead but at this point, I don't think there is any other way to change this pack" she sighs sadly her head falling as she walks me to mine and Logan's room.
" it's fine I will fix this," I tell her my face showing how confident I am that I can change this pack. But I see tears falling down her face and her hand stops me she holds on to me as I watch her
"C-can you tell him so-mething before?" she asks me almost sobbing as she asks me "t-tell him 'your mate would be ashamed' he cares more about them than anything, even though he marked me," she tells me I just nod at her walking into the room we got my face staying cold
"hey Hayden... you smell bad" he cringes at me as I just sigh laying down on my bed
"I met him" I sigh out a lovesick breath my mind focusing on my mate even more than before I feel Logan sitting beside me hitting my head with a book
"one of the luna's handed me this" Logan tells me hitting my head again with what I now know as my sketchbook he lays it on my head and I snatch it off laying it in front of me opening to the sketch of him showing Logan my first sketch of Collen
"I saw him" I point out the drawing to him "he was..." I can't continue as I am once again captivated by my mate and I feel Logan place his hand on my head rubbing my head
"good you'll need him" he smiles at me his own eyes dulling at this topic
"you'll find her," I tell him full and udder confidence in my voice as I watch him
"you still stink" he chuckles at me
