Our plane landed an hour ago and we were on our way to a small little house located in the suburbs of New Jersey.

E and I chose this place to be our last visit because it'd be closest to home and we'd be readily available to our dad whenever he needed us.

As we neared the cute little home, we both noticed that the Christmas lights had not been turned on and there seemed to be an eerie vibe looming around.

My knuckles hit the wooden door making a knocking sound and soon after, we heard footsteps.

E and I adjusted the gifts in our arms and the cameras were rolling, we were ready for Madison to come outside.

When the door opened, we both yelled, "Surprise!" But, instead of an 18-year-old girl, we saw a man who seemed to be in his mid-forties.

The man looked at me and then over at Ethan, letting out a sigh.

Our camera crew quickly turned the cameras off, and the man began to speak.

"You're here for Madison, right?"

Our heads nodded in unison and as soon as we made the gesture, his eyes welled up with tears.

"She's in the hospital - she was at a party last night and in the morning, they found her on the road, completely beaten up; she was raped."
