STARTING; CHAPTER ONE.

"[NAME]!"

            You look back with a dull look as a small sigh left your lips. "Good morning, Satori." Satori grinned happily as he wrapped his arms around you tightly, making you deadpan. "I literally saw you, what, yesterday I think?" He pouted. "Come on, dont be like that!" He brightened up as you shrugged coolly.

      "Alright then."

        He chuckled and began walking down the side of the road with you. This was a normal day as always. You wake up, wonder why god even created you, then you got dressed, did your things and headed out, just waiting for the hyper active boy to pop up out of no where.

        "So~!" He clapped his hands together. "Are you going to join a club this year?" You immediately shot the idea down with a emotionless no. There was no way in hell you were gonna join some club. Who did he think you were? Some type of happy go lucky idiot like him?

      "Oh, dont be like!" He whined. "Hey, how about you come spend the day at my literature club, after school, you know?" You deadpanned, turning your head his way. "If it means I have to spend the time talking and hearing you, then no." He frowned. "Meany."

       You shrugged. "That's how it be sometimes." You blink, seeing his actual downcasted look before frowning softly and looking down, not understanding him at all. It seemed like he was just teasing you, but...maybe you had hurt his feelings. Feeling shaken up, you turned to him.

       "I'm sorry that I hurt your feelings, but I don't-"

          You stopped walking, clutching your ear on instinct as static filled it. "Wh.. at?" You choked out.

       "Game... what... game-" Satori placed his hand down on your shoulder, making you jump as your wide eyes went to his scared and fearful ones. "[Name]? Are... are you okay? You suddenly stopped and you looked.." He gulped down, making his Adam's apple softly bob.

     "You looked so scared. I... I started to feel worried, so I came back-" You shoved his hand off abruptly, staggering back a bit as you glared. "I'm fine. I wasn't and I will never be scared of anything. Got that?" You snapped at the end before pushing past him and continuing down the road, ignoring the stare of hurt and confusion that was on Satori's face.

       "Guys! I'm telling you! She won't talk to me after what happened this morning!!"

      Satori groaned sadly as Natsuki huffed. "Who cares? Shes probably just realizing how annoying you are." A gasp left Yuki's mouth. "N- Natsuki! Pl- please don't say mean things about Satori!" He pleaded. "It can't be that!" He huffed a bit. "I mean- We have been friends since we were kids. Even then, she was just like this, but that didn't mean she didnt hang out with me. Of course she did." He made sure to add the last part before Natsuki could intervene.

        The three hadn't seen Moniko's look of slight jealousy as he spoke, but he pushed it away and smiled. "Why not ask what is the matter, Satori? If she's your best friend as you say she is, she should tell you." Satori turned to Moniko. "And that's what I did, Moniko!" He looked down with a depressed sigh. "That's what I did. But instead, she pushed me away." He gave the guys a pleadikg glance.

      "Guys... please... you have to help me understand! Please help me try to understand herr!!"

       Yuri blushed at the pleading tone and softly nodded, glancing away. "I- I'll help you, if you want i-it, Satori..." Moniko nodded also. "You can count me on it." They all turned to Natsuki, who blushed and grumbled. "T- The hell are you guys staring at me for?!" He then shouted, clutching his fists tightly as they continued to stare.

     "GGGRH- ALRIGHT!"

          You packed up your stuff, eyes narrowed as you placed your bookbag over your shoulders. That static sound that you had herd earlier, along with those words, were still ringing inside your head. Just what did that mean? Game? You weren't inside any damn game. This was real life.

       "Uhm... [Name]? Are... are you in here?" Satori's adorable face popped inside the door, making some people stare at him before glancing away. You simply nodded and walked towards him. "What is it." You asked coolly. He grinned. "Are you feeling better now? I have a surprise for you!" You glowered. "Suprise? What surprise?" He chuckled nervously.

      "Dont worry! It's not a prank... not like last time at least." He shivered at the thought before grasping her hand and beginning to drag her out. "Hey... where are you-?" Her breath caught in her throat as the world seemingly stopped itself. There was also a glow that seemed to wrap itself around the boy, making him look even more cuter.

       "Don't worry about anything, [Name]! It's such a good surprise, your gonna be smiling until the ends of the earth!"

       What the hell... is happening to me..?

         You were in a daze. Everything was almost like... you were actually inside a game.

      Whatever was going on....you were going to find out why and how, no matter what it took.

     ....if only you knew it would take some great risks along with that.
