the orphanage was a pretty building, he'd come to realize this. but to peter parker, a new 5-year-old, it was terrifying. cold mist surrounded the area, and only that house was. vines curled around cold spiky metal fences. even the door handle was cold, freezing. everything was cold.
Peter Parker, was cold.

Now years later, the house seems much warmer.

the kids, (tom, Larry, Ashley, Sal) guess its due to him growing up.
and the wardens were never home, so many years later Peter was the man of the house.
he fed them, clothed them. mostly coming from a steady stream of income from the wardens.
he was a protector, not just for the kids. but for all of Queens.

then he was bitten by a spider.
and everything he knew, changed.
he went out more, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, dressed in all black a small black Halloween mask the only thing protecting his identity. 

then he saw someone getting mugged, fury etched towards him, sharp pangs of rage. and he jumped down, small light taps as he walked down the alleyway.
he curled his fist and punched him square in the jaw. it was like all his rage left him exiting and turning into strength.

from that moment on, it was so different. he could change things.
and he upgraded.
wore a red leather jacket (with a hood) over black pants and black shoes.
his mask seemed better, Ash had made it and it looked amazing.

"do you know what they call you?"
"not really."
"they're calling you.."
