Everyday that went by was a blur. It took several weeks to figure everything out. Most of the stuff in our was house was sold and we were in the process of moving into our Aunt's house. Hazii was helping me move. Once we got everything in my aunt's house, it was time to go dress shopping. The funeral was in 2 days. Everything was prepared and ready. I just needed a dress and makeup. Me and Aunt Rosalia pulled up to Armani and walked in. I gasped at the gorgeous dresses that lay before my eyes. It's sad that I had to wear the dresses for a depressing occasion. One of the employees fitted me for a dress and 15 minutes later I walked out with a gorgeous black dress and some darkish colors of makeup. Aunt Rosalia drove us back home. I did my homework and went to sleep.
2 days later...
Today is the day. The day I get to see my beautiful parents get put in the ground never to rise up again. That thought made me nauseous. They always wanted to be buried together. Just not this early in life. I put Aldan in a cute little onesie and placed him in his carseat. I placed him in the car. I sat in the car between Alaina and Aldan. Alaina was looking at the ground and tears were rolling down her soft beautiful 6 year old face. I wanted to cry and scream and just wail until there was not a sound left in me...also I had makeup on. I need to be strong, I cant break down now, Aldan and Alaina need me. We pulled up to the funeral place and walked in. We were the last ones to arrive. It was open casket, we looked at the bodies. Mama and Papa looked so peaceful that it hurt. I made the mistake of letting a single tear slip down my cheek. I wiped it and lead Alaina to a seat. The funeral lasted 3 hours. When everyone left, it was just me, Aunt Rosalia, Uncle Roberto, Alaina, and Aldan. It was time, time to watch my parents be  lowered into the ground. Once the dirt was on the caskets and the headstones were placed, it was time to go home. The car ride was very silent after that.
