Before I realized I was genderfluid I realized I was Pansexual. I came out to my parents quickly because I have very liberal and accepting parents. They didn't know what pansexual is and had to ask me what it was. I explained it to them and they were cool with it. So that went well. I realized I was genderfluid because I related to a genderfluid character in a book and because of the song The Village. My sister noticed one day that I was acting "very male" and asked if I was at all questioning my gender. I told her I was and that was that. I left a sign on my door one day that said "I'm genderfluid. I'd prefer to be called Charlie." My parents call me Charlie now and often ask what my pronouns are at that time. I'm lucky I have supportive parents and family. If anyone doesn't or just wants to talk, I'm here.
