CHOLE DIARY PROVToday was the first day back to school. I can't believe I'm in grade 10 now. Oh I forgot to introduce myself I'm Chloe Roberts. I live a simple life with simple people. At home I live with my parents. I go to a simple school. I'm normal. I deal with all kinds of problems daily, like how hard it is to straighten my hair, or what the boys think of me at my school, it's hard sometimes being a teen.
So anyway back to my day. In first period we had maths. We started our first unit and it was algebra. I don't mind algebra but I'd rather do measurement it's heaps better but I guess algebra was okay. At recess I met up with my friends. Caroline, Rebecca and Maddy. We don't always hang out at recess, because I like to check Facebook and that usually takes me 20 minutes, but we hung out today because it was the first day back.
We talked about all things girls our age talk about like how many likes I got on Instagram or how hot the new guy was. I love talking to them because I feel like I can tell them anything. Maddy's in grade 9 so she had to leave early because she had to start getting ready, and the times of classes are different in grade 9, but she's also still trying to settle into high school. Maddy is the uptight one of the group, she contently reminds us do our homework and to not get to class late. Sometimes she can be like my own personal reminder app, because she always reminds me to do stuff. People sometimes bitch about me because I'm friends with someone that's a year younger but I just tell them to piss off, because Maddy is my FRIEND and I wound do anything to protect her.
The rest of us are all in the next class together so we started to walk to the far building where our next class was. Caroline told me that her mother (who is our child studies teacher) is setting some very interesting homework. Apparently we needed to bring our birth certificate to school for a project. I was actually pretty excited for that because tbh I have never seen it before.
REAL LIFE POV
Chloe put down her book and remembered to go up to the attic and fine her birth certificate. Chloe was one of those people that likes to get things done, she did this because she didn't like to leave things till the last minute. As she walked up the the stairs the last step Creaked and it sent a chill up her spine. Chloe hadn't been up to the attic since she was at least 7 maybe even 6, so she was a little afraid of the place, but she still went up there. The attic was dark and a little creepy. There was only one light in the attic and when Chloe turned it on she found that the bulb was out, that didn't surprise her, because she knew that she wasn't only one in her family that hadn't been up there in a while. Luckily she had a flash light. Chloe looked though every box she could see, she couldn't get to every box because a lot of the boxes where on high shelves. She was a bit surprised that she couldn't fined it, because she would have thought that her parents would want to display the certificate at least store it in a place were It was easier accessible.
She then herd a loud bang and she knew that it was the front door, her parents were home. Her mother called out to her, so Chloe ran she didn't want her parents to know that she was in the attic she ran down the stairs and as she got to the very last step she tripped and she hurt her foot but there was no time, even know she was in pain she ran and jumped onto the bed, not a second later mother walked into the bedroom. What her mother could see was Chloe reading a book, she looked comfortable and relaxed.
"Hey Chloe, we've bought take away"
"Oh, thanks mum! I'll be down in a minute"Chloe's mother left Chloe's room. Chloe listened, she heard a her mother go down the stairs and she heard her enter the kitchen. Chloe hopped to the bathroom and opened the medicine cabinet, she grabbed an ankle brace (she had the brace already because she once sprain her ankle in a soccer game). Chloe hopped to the bath and she sat on the edge, she put the brace on her ankle. Chloe knew she had to move quick because any minute her mother could come up again and ask for Chloe to come down. Chloe didn't know what to put over her ankle to disguise her injury, the only thing she could think of was her winter fluffy boots, and she thought to her self "These will have to do".
