Chapter 1 - the new girl in town

Elena's POV....

As I get in the car and drive out of mystic falls and head to some where they won't find me so after what seems like hours I find a little town called forks and now time to find a house for sale and pretty much as I thought that I drove past a little house where a old lady live and so I pulled up out the front of the house across the road and vamp ran behind her and compelled her to invite me in and to let me stay and pretend that I was a family friend granddaughter and to not invite any one without my permission. The next thing I needed to do was apply for school which in this town doesn't start till 8:30 in the morning so I will go to school tomorrow but for now I'm going to get some food since it was dark I decided to go to an old high way and lie down in the middle and what for someone to drive by which in about 3 minutes someone was all ready and the got out of the car and ran over to me to see if I'm ok then I vamp ran behind her and bit her in the neck then wiped my mouth and then I heard someone coming so I quickly compelled her to forget made I ran away. Then into the house, were the old lady was drinking some tea.

"Is everything okey Elena" she asked

"Every things fine Nancy"

"That's good"

"Yea it is, did you make those call I asked about"

"Yes elena you will be starting school tomorrow"

"Thank you" and I walk upstairs to my room and fall asleep.

The next morning I got up early and got changed into tight black skinny jeans and a short cut white singlet and a black leather jacket with high heals. then went down stairs and Nancy made me a coffee and gave me a blood bag than once I was done I got in my car and drove to school. once I was there I got out and everyone was looking at me the I walked through the car park and looked over and saw a group of people that where all pale white. then I just looked back to the front of the school and found my way to the front office and they gave me my time table and locker number and code. this it my first day at my new school. then I knock on the door of my first class 'history' great.

"Your late and who are you"

"I'm elena gilbert the new girl"

"Well than welcome to forks high, school you can take a seat next to Jakob down the back" she says then points to a seat next to a tanned skinned guy with dark brown hair and eyes. so I go down and sit next to him. then the teacher started to talk again "ok this term as you know we are learning about the history of mystic falls, so class who know how many people died in the civil war" and I put my hand up and she pointed to me

"675 people if you count the civilians who died"

"That's wrong there were no civilian deaths"

"Actually there were at the end the the soldiers though the enimies were storing weapons so they blow the church up, put it wasn't any weapons but actually a children's quire 25 children age between 5-14 died and it was a sad time for the town"

"How might you know this"

"I grew up in mystic falls and because i'm from one of the founding families I grew up learning about it"

"Ok" then we went back to class

Once the bell went I walked down the corridor and a girl was pacing out flyers about starting a cheer leading squid so I get one and sign my name up then followed by the girl who was giving me the death stare all thorough the last class.

"Hey elena" I heard a familiar blond original vampire

"Great it's you" I say in a pissed off mood

"yep it's me now I would really like to speak alone"

"Fine" we walk down the hall to an empty room "what do you want"

"I want to be your friend and call it a truss to this on going war"

"That's fine with me good it a truss" I say and she hugs me "so where are you living"

"Well I don't have any where yet"

"Stay with me"

"Really"

"Yea"

"So who are you running from"

"Well lets just say when Damon died I got Alaric to compel me to forget that I loved him then when I heard he came back I bolted"

"Cool"

"What about you"

"Running from my brother, well he was going to dagger me for reading his diary, and his going to kill me from saying this but he was only with Caroline to get close to you because he loves you"

"Me the doppelgänger"

"Same with Elijah"

"Well that's weird ish"

"Yea and the way they reacted to it when I threatened to tell you they went all syco" I just giggled since I have always thought they were hot.

"Well see you later I skipping the rest of the day to go hunting if you want to come, but I have be back for cheer leading try outs"

"Count me in" so we leave but we are not the only ones who leave so do the Collins and yes I found out there last names and there all adopted and most of them are married. once we get to the woods I make the fog cover the road so it's hard for the kill to see then rebecka lies down on the road and the kills hit her and stop and get out and we have a feast then give them our blood to hell them go.

Then we went back to the school for try outs and there was that little girl, Rosalie and Alice Collins and It seems there hole family was sitting on the belches watching. the a few other girls. so rebecka and I in our short shorts stretching then totally rocking our try outs. then on our way home we decided to get some more food then we where grabbed from behind us and knocked out by some one.
