So when you have your own little Nigeria Falls (jk) you can either use a pad or tampon. A pad is a piece of special made material that absorbs the blood. It has one side that is sticky so it sticks to your underwear. Some can have wings that are also sticky and stick to the other side of your underwear. Now a tampon can be a specially designed cotton in a cardboard or plastic tube. For a tampon you push it up your woman hole. There will be a little string hanging out. When it is fully expanded you just pull the string and it will come out( don't worry it can't get stuck). When you are a beginner I would recommend using a pad, because when you are just starting to deal with your period and you don't really want to get even more stressed about a tampon. But a pad does kind of feel like a diaper. Hope this helped you gals!
