"TWO LOCAL BOYS MURDERED AT ABANDONED HOUSE WERE FOUND TO BE PART OF–"

omar turned the tv off and sighed, growing anxious. he'd been evicted from his apartment a few days earlier and now he and stokeley were staying in a cheap motel.

he grabbed his laptop from the side table next to the bed and opened it, typing 'cheap houses for sale near me' into the search bar.

a couple small one bedroom houses popped up, which were a definite no. he began to feel the urge to give up, when a three bedroom popped up.

"only eight hundred?" he couldn't believe his eyes. there were no offers on the house, which was surprising.

he emailed the seller, asking when was the soonest that they could move in. not even a second later, she responded.

omarpinero@email.com:
hey, im interested in this house. when would be the soonest my friend and i could move in?

berthajones@email.com:
hello, you could move in today if you'd like. i really need this burden lifted off of my shoulders.

omar was confused as to what she meant but responded with an ok. he got up and began packing the little things he had.

he picked up his phone and called stokeley, only having it ring once.
"hello?" omar put the phone on speaker and continued packing.

"we got a house," there was silence. "you're lying," omar laughed full of joy. "im not, "

a loud cry of happiness was heard on the other end of the phone. "oh shit uh sorry boss," stokeley laughed, joy filling his body.

"and what's better is we can move in today," another cry of happiness was heard from stokeley, this time a bit quieter.

"we gettin a fucking house,"
