don't be surprised if we post one-shots form one characters POV like this now and then
Shell was on a world that was mostly nature, with trees and lakes filling the mountainous landscape that stretched as far as the eye could see.
He was perched on the edge of a cliff, his legs dangling off the side.
This wasn't his multiverse, but Inky's.
Miles away, he could feel the other Inks sleeping.
Even innocent, oh-so-broken Colorless.
He looked up at the moon that filled the sky. It seemed so close he could touch it, although he knew it was far away.
It was beautiful, and made him miss his own multiverse. Oh, he could return easily, but right now, he was needed here.
Slowly, he got to his feet, and leaped.
The world sped past him as he fell.
Then, just before he hit the ground so far below, he changed. White-gold light surrounded him, no, he was light, with enormous white wings, reflecting the moonlight into a rainbow of colors like prisms.
His form was still humanoid, but everything was light.
He sped up into the sky, and then floated, relaxing peacefully.
It had been a very long time since he released one of his limits.
Hopefully, he wouldn't have to release any more, as he didn't want to damage any of Inky's creations.
Slowly, the sun began to rise, and sighing, he slipped away, back to the others who were beginning to wake.
He just had to have faith in the others that they could handle what he could feel coming.
