Where's your dad?

Midoriya shows Shinso the outside of the apartment and asks wether the one next to his is Shinso's new house.

'Yeah, you're right, we do live next to eachother.' Shinso replies to the bubbly boys question. The boys bubbly personality is a huge contrast to the sad looking boy he saw earlier that day. ' I'm gonna head inside, bye I guess.' He waves awkwardly.

'Wait!' The greenette stops him. 'Can we be friends?' He looks at Hitoshi's Lavender eyes.

'Yeah, sure,' He says nonchantly.

'Would you like to come inside later?' The boy with freckles looked hopefull. He was desperately striving to make Shinso the first friend he's had in a decade. Bakugo would never let Midoriya have friends and always turned his classmates and friends against him.

'I can ask my dads if I can later, if they say yeah, how does 7 sound?' He replies.

Midoriya's eyes widened at "dads".

'Wait are you homophobic or something?' His expression turned from tired to something like a half hearted grimace.

'No, no, no, no, no! I'm not homophobic and 7 sounds good!' Midoriya exclaims while his hands flail wildly.

'Oh okay, bye, Midoriya.'

Shinso notices that Midoriya squirms a little bit whenever he says his name.

Midoriya doesn't know what he wants to feel. He's never called midoriya by anyone because normally, It's just Izuku or Deku. It's different, but it's not a good different.

He comes into the kitchen and greets his sweet mother, his Great Dane, Hoshi, and Cat, Nichi.

'Nichi' the bright white cat that glows yellow in sunlight. 'Nichi' meaning 'sun'. Her owner was Shinso but after losing his parents and getting into the adoption system in Musutafu the cat was put in a shelter. After a week, The Midoriya family decided to adopt a cat. Midoriya Izuku did not want to re-name the cat even though 'Nichi' was a nickname used for him by his father before Inko divorced him.

'Hoshi' the grey and black haired Great Dane. 'Hoshi' meaning 'star'. Hoshi was originally brought in from America by a rich american that died in a car crash upon getting to Japan. The puppy was brought to the mans new home in a separate car that had already arrived there while he was driving to a friends house. He proceeded to have a head on collision with a truck that sent him flying to his doom. However, the man's family did not want a 5 month old Great Dane puppy so she was put in a shelter. Specifically the same shelter that Nichi was in. Inko Midoriya visited that same shelter on Izuku's 10th birthday and got him 'Hoshi' the 8 month old puppy by then. Hoshi is truly as bright as the stars in the dark for Izuku when he is sad or having an anxiety attack. She can sense when Izuku is distressed and acts as a service dog although she was never trained. She is truly Izuku's best friend.

Nichi and Hoshi got along very well since the first time they met.

'Hi mom, how was your day?' He smiles.

'It was stressful,' she kisses him on the forehead and walks to the door quickly. ' I need to go for another shift at the hospital, I will be back at 12, okay?' She smiles, he frowns.

'Oh, ok mom, is it okay for me to have friend over? It's not Kacchan.' He asks.

She turns around to face him and drops her bags.

'Izuku!' She starts to cry happy tears. 'My baby boy has a new friend!' I'm so proud, my flower.' She continues to cry as she kisses his cheek and hugs him.

He smiles and hugs her back and kisses her cheek. She leaves the small apartment sappy and happy.

He greets his beautiful 3 and a half year old Great Dane and his cat.

'Hey guys, how are you? You can tell I'm happy right now, can't you Hoshi? I have new friend that's coming over so be polite please.' Midoriya cooed while he snuggled up to his pets on the couch.

Midoriya has never had a fashion sense.

Ever.

Any shirts he wears say 'T-shirt, All Might, Flannel Shirt, etc' hes hopeless when it comes to fashion. He has a few plain shirts though. He wears sweatpants and cargo pants, that's about it.

He bathes and wears a plain blue shirt and black sweatpants (thank god).

Shinso entered his new apartment and greeted his cat, Shinso wore a beige jumper and grey sweatpants.

"Hey, Fatfat. Did'you catch any rats and leave them on my pillow yet?"

The cat just meows in response.

Shinso POV

Shinso is mentally prepared for the first friend in a while.

He knocks on the door at the time they decided to meet again.

The smaller, frail-ler boy opens the door with a huge grin on his face.

The first thing shinso notices is the bandages on his arms.

Midoriya POV

'HE NOTICED THE BANDAGES WHAT DO I SAY?- AAAAA-' Midoriya internally panics.

Shinso POV

I can tell he doesn't like it when I look at them theres one on his left collarbone going to his shoulder under his shirt. Theres also one on his left arm. Why? I'll ask when he's less panicked.' He decided.

No POV

'Calm dooown, relaxatioon, chill ouuut.' Midoriya quoted from Vine. He's not a memer but he likes vines. He plasters on a happy face.

'Hi, Midoriya.' He greets.

'Hi, Shinso! Come in.' He goes back to being bubbly.

Shinso looks down to see a dog and a ca-

'Nichi?' He whispers. He'd never mistake that cat for another one.

'Yeah, how do you know her name?

'I- She was-' He burst into joy and laughter while Midoriya smiled.

'Nichi! Come here!'

The semi-elderly cat looked up at him and its eyes sparked. The cat pounced on hus shoulders after he leaned down next to the cat.

Midoriya and Hoshi sat down, silently waiting to understand whats happening.

'I used to have her as my pet but things happened an she was put up for adoption, like me. Something happened and we were separated but I never forgot her.'

'Awwwww that's so cute! Do you- do you want her back? I can't just keep her now.' Midoriya said.

'She can live in both houses. She loves you too.' Shinso smiled.

'Awesome!' Midoriya said, relieved that he wouldn't be loaing his feline friend.

They sat on the couch and watched TV while eating chips with Hoshi snuggled on Midoriya and Nichi snuggled against Shinso.

'So where are your parents?'

Midoriya chocked on his chips.

'Parent.' He replied.

'Oh. Which one do you have?-'

'My mom.'

'Ok where- is your dad, then?'

'Overseas. On a "businness trip".'He said, with a bit of venom that Shinso did'nt think he was capable of having.

'How long?'

'12 years.'

'Okay, I could get some popcorn from my house?'

'Sure.' he smiled.
