Lucy rushed through the halls at Care Paravell looking for a quiet place and hoping that no one would stop her. She opened a door and found a bedroom. On of the one's for important guests. It wasn't being used. It would be the perfect place not to be interuped. She flung herself aguenst the bed and let herself cry. Tears flowed from her eyes like water from a broken dam. She didn't know how long she hardly cared. She rembered the last time she had cryed like this. More than this really. It was when Aslan- but thinking that made her miss him too.

"Oh Aslan"

She said out loud between her sobing.

"Dear heart"

She hardly believe the voice she heard from across the room. But when she looked up there he stood. He walked slowly twords her. His eyes deeper and more sorriful then her own. She rushed to him and put her arms around his neck. He Patted her back with his great velveted paw. For a while she stood there quietly crying into his golden mane. He went with her. Finnily when she had the strength to speak she said.

"I loved him Aslan"

"You did child."

Though she thought of herself as nearly fully grown, it felt good to hear Aslain call her child.

"And I love him too."

"But he's dead."

"Just because someone has died doesn't mean you stop loving them."

"It hurts Aslan."

"I know love."

"Is he"

Lucy looked up for the first time.

"Is he safe?"

"Yes dear one so much more than safe."

"Could you bring him back?"

"I could but"

Here Aslan paused for a minute.

"Do you remember the dress you wore when I crowned you queen of Narnia?"

"Well"

Lucy didn't know what the dress had to do with anything but she thought for a minute

" yes I believe I do. It was a lovely dress."

"Yes it was very lovely do you think you would want to where it now?"

The question seemed ridiculous.
"I'm to big"

"And if I were to make you small again? If I were to make you the same as you were then? Would you want that?"

Lucy nearly blurted out yes it was a glorious day full of smiles and friends but then she thought about it really thought about it. She thought about all the days of the years that had gone by since. The things she had done the friends she had made. How much she had learned and grown. She thought about falling in love and all the dreams she had shared with the man she now wept for.

"No."

" So you mean he has grown since then too and he's some how to big?"

"Yes"

"And he wouldn't want to come back even if he could?"

"Yes"

Lucy let out another rush of tears and barred her face in Aslan's mane. Softly he humed to her some familiar song she had never heard. The song was sad but warm and so so beautiful. When he was finished he said "now, you are a queen do you have the strength to to go before your people and confert them?"

"Yes" she paused "will you come with me?"

"Dauter I am always with you"

Slowly he vanished from sight.
