Dragon from the future

PROLOGUE

*Hello! My name is coconutcream. This is my first time writing a story, so please bear with me! I'm in middle school so I won't be able to update much often. That's all I had to say. I hope you like my story!*

It's a sunny morning in Magnolia and the guild is bustling. Natsu and Lucy are taking a walk.

NATSU'S POV

Lucy said she wanted to go to the library because a new set of novels had come in, so I decided to tag along too. But now I regret it because it's boring! I should have just stayed home with Happy.

"Natsu! Come on, let's get going; the library isn't gonna come to us." Lucy said to me with a big smile on her face. I sighed. "okay" I replied to her.

After we reached the book store it took us an hour to get all the books Lucy needed. They were heavy so we decided to take a break in the South Gate Park. "Lucy, why do you need more books? You already have so many at your house." I asked her. "Well, you see these are new editions so I decided to get them. I can't wait to read them with Levy!" she answered me with a bright smile.

LUCY'S POV

It's a bright and cheerful day today. The novel I and Levy were waiting for arrived. I didn't have a job to take care of today so I decided to pick it up. Surprisingly  Natsu said he'd tag along with me because it was boring at the Guild. The books were heavy so we decided to take a break in the South Gate Park. Nothing was out of the ordinary, or so we thought.

Suddenly we heard an explosion. Natsu looked at me and we both nodded in agreement. We both started to head in the direction of the explosion. 

Natsu's expression changed and he started to sniff the air. "what's wrong Natsu" I asked. " I'm picking up a familiar scent and it kind of smells like you...." he said. 

We both stopped running. We were shocked. We saw four teens unconscious on the ground-- two girls; one with shabby cherry blossom hair, one with long dark brown hair and two boys, one with scarlet hair wit a symbol under his eye and one with black hair. They were in really bad shape-- with bruises all over their body.

I and Natsu rushed to them to check if they were breathing and thankfully they were. We couldn't leave them in such a state so we decided to take them back to the guild. Me and Natsu alone couldn't carry all of them. 

"Natsu, go back to the Guildhall and get someone to help us," I said to him. He nodded and ran off. I began to wonder if somebody had beaten up those teenagers and had run away. Fifteen minutes later Natsu returned, running with Gray and Erza behind him. we carried the teens to the guild and asked Wendy to check on them.

"I have healed them for now, but they still might need medical attention so its better if we get Miss Polyurscia" Wendy said with a look of concern on her face. "Still, what could have caused those children to get hurt so much?" said Carla who was standing beside Wendy. "We could ask them when they wake up," Natsu said with a confused face. "What's wrong?" I asked. "well...I don't  know why, but their scents are really familiar..." Natsu said. "Huh." I shrugged it off.

In the afternoon Miss Polyurscia came by and checked on them. She told us that they had major injuries, but because Wendy healed them there was nothing to worry about. They were just exhausted and needed a few day's rest.
