But broken
Tired and worn
Battered and beaten
By unrelenting tides
Bulbous and misshapen
Strangled and eroded
By waves
By salt
By time
Arched, ribbed, and strained
Rough
Dirty
Pocked and speckled
Ugly
A second look
Misshapen or organic?
Asymmetry is irrelevant
Ribs become grooves
Gracefully swooping
Carving
Bending
Smooth
Natural
True beauty
Sculpted by the beating waves
