THIRD PERSON POV
MONTHS LATER
Things were getting tense as the months went by. Eric rarely left the house. If he did, it would be only to get groceries. He slowly shift his eyes around his home, thinking about Suge and Pac. He always knew him and Pac were cool. Would he turn his back on him for Suge? Recently Suge put a bomb in Eric's car. Luckily Eric wasn't in the car at the time. This was it for Eric. He was a target for Suge and "his niggas."
Yella, Ren, and Dre came over to Eric with concern and worry. Things were not getting any better.
"How are you doing Eric?" Yella asks as he sits down on the arm of the couch
Eric slowly snaps out of the image he was picturing in his head, turning towards Yella.
"I' m not doing good. I don't know if I will be." Eric says lowly looking at everyone
"It can't be that bad Eric. I mean you could've died since that bomb was in your car. The thing is, you didn't! That's the beauty in it!" Dre said trying to comfort Eric
"I don't think it makes me better to remind me that I could've died by a bomb! It's only going to get worse if I stay here-
" Eric said before stopping his sentence to think
Ren raises one of his eyebrows in confusion. "What you mean it's only going to get worse if you stay here? We can protect you from Suge!"
Eric closes his eyes, shaking his head in disbelief. "I can't stay here in Compton anymore. None of you can protect me from Suge. NONE OF YOU! Just admit it. If ya'll were to protect me there wouldn't have been a bomb in my car!"
"Look Eric, calm down. Things don't have to go down like this." Yella tries to reassure Eric
"Things do have to go down like this. Ya'll are either with me or against me. Which one is it?" Eric says to everyone, looking deadly at their faces
Yella slowly turned his head to Ren, as he did it with the others. What choice would they make to safe their friend?
