When we came back to the dens, the pack was awake. Mostly the puppies, others still resting and watching them . Me and Breeze carried our catch. I wasn't too pleased with Breeze being chosen to carry my catch however. The first wolf who spotted us when we walked in was Owl. "Wow nice catch!" he said, amazed. Breeze raised his head and tail proudly. My claws dug into the soil below me. I could just leap at him,I could shred his ears and show everybody I'm not somebody to mess with. "Actually," Snowstorm spoke from behind us "Supah caught it." Lara nodded. "All by himself?" Smoke Cloud asked. "All by himself," Berry said proudly. What are you so proud of? I'm not your friend or something... I was showered with more praises and compliments about my hunting skills. I wasn't exactly the one who loved to be in the spotlight, but this wasn't bad at all. It felt as if after all these months of roaming in the woods alone,I have finally found a place where I belonged and where I was accepted. "You know he was a rouge right?" Jennie said, not impressed at all "catching prey for himself was something he should know how to do anyway." Most of the wolves agreed with her. I cursed quietly and dropped the prey. The pack sat around it and began to eat. I wasn't so hungry so I just awkwardly stood there and watched. Besides,I was still an outsider right? Outsiders get their meals last. I might as well go and hunt something for myself. After all,Snowstorm said that we can catch something for ourselves. Just as I was about to ran off to the forest. A small hazel she-wolf showed up. Her light brown pelt was dull with white fur, which told a lot about her age. "Don't listen to Jennie, young one," she smiled "I was a rouge once myself and I know that catching your own food isn't that easy. Especially in winter. And an adult elk? That is really amazing." She stopped and sighed loudly. "It's just that, wolves don't understand us,rouges," she said quietly, sounding a lot sadder now. "Thanks ,I appreciate it," I said. "I'm Pumpkin by the way," she said with the cheerful voice she had a while ago. "Well you know my name," I said. "Supah," she smiled and then walked away.

Once I was finished eating the sparrow I caught for myself I buried the bones in the snow, as I would always do after I finished eating. I rolled over. I couldn't remember the last time I was full and alone. Usually I'd just go back to my home, curl up in the snow and wake up in the warm house. But those times were over now and I should have jut let it go. I watched the icicles above me and start wondering if it was worth it. "There you are!" I turned around and saw Lara. "It's second meal already!" I trotted behind her, back to the dens. "You should've take better care of me,you already lost me one time," I joked. Lara laughed quietly. When we arrived to the dens, the place was much. Lonelier then it was earlier that night. "Where are everybody?" I asked. "Come," Lara started running again "I think you're going to like this."

The only sound were two canines running through the snow. "Well?" I huffed "I was expecting some sort of explanation."

"Oh,right," Lara said. "Well Owl and Berry found a frozen lake. It seems to be really fun." Not long after her explanation, we arrived. All the pack members that weren't at the dens were here, fooling around in every possible way on the ice. "I shall break Owl's tree crashing record!" Breeze announced. "You guys are stupid," Jennie said. I didn't know it was possible but she was smiling. Everybody cleared the middle of the lake, making space for Breeze. He sprinted towards the lake from behind. He slid across the ice fastly and ended up crashing in the tree. "He broke the record!" Smoke Cloud announced, followed by cheering. Lara seemed to be enjoying herself, happiness filled the air. I let go of my worries and decided to have some fun too. "Hey!" Everybody stopped from sudden growl. Nobody has ever seen this wolf, his scent  told us that he wasn't one of us. "What are you doing here?! This is my territory!" His fur was long and dark brown. "I think not, there are no scent markers," Spider challenged. The wolf's claws raked across cheek, causing him to crawl on the ice. Even this wasn't this wolf's territory,he wasn't afraid to defend it.

Rage grew inside. This was absolutely ridiculous, he had no scent markers, no warnings and yet, he reacts so aggressively. My claws dug into the ice. If he wants a fight,he'll get one "And just who do you think you are?" I snarled. And that was enough.

We attacked each other. The fight was intense, and we were both skilled. I felt eyes staring, all around us. But that wasn't important, what was important was me defeating him. Everything stopped once he fell on the ground below me. I stared at him, proud of my achievement. But then I realized what I've done. I've realized there was warm sticky blood between my claws,I tasted it in my mouth. The scratches on my pelt stung. I took a quick glance behind me. Everybody stared in shock, either at me or at the wolf. I looked at my victim. He laid in a pool of blood, his eyes lifeless and dull, his chest was still, not moving. "Murderer!" I heard voices behind me "Murderer!"
