Opening one eye, I glance to the left to see...

Kazuichi.

He's so close to my face, his hand now resting on my back.

I stare into his eyes for... who knows how long.

Kazuichi stands hunched over next to me as I sit in the booth.

Kazuichi smiles widely before attempting to lean in closer. I feel my blood begin to rise as I shoot my head up away from him. Kazuichi stands up straight, if that's even possible, "Sorry about that you just look so cute when you sleeping." He admits, wait how long was he there for. "How long were you there for?" I ask in a quiet voice still flustered. Kazuichi tilts his head to the side, "I just got here," he answers, I doubt that.

I slide out of the seat beginning my departure out of the diner. "Wait, where are you going?" Kazuichi ask as I reach for the door, "Going to explore," I say, grabbing the door handle swinging it open.

I take a step out side to notice the sun was setting. A cave entrance I didn't explore earlier caught my attention as I hear voices. I quietly walk through the tunnel to finally emerge to see the sun peeking over a small cottage. A gravel path lead around it with a cement path heading to a door on the back of the cottage.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

I heard Saionji scream as she ran around the corner, "Kuyuhiko! Hajime!!" I raise my eyebrow, Hajime? "You got to stop them! Their going to kill each other!" I watch Saionji run through the tunnel and out of view. Hajime bolts forward, how is he so fast?? Quickly I ran after Hajime around the small cottage to the back to see a small beach area much like the ones all around the place but this one was more secluded. Even tho the view was stunning my attention was drawn away from the sunset slowly disappearing to see Nekumaru and Akana fighting!

"YAAHHH!!!" Akana screams as she plunges  forward towards Nekumaru. "Guys! You got to stop fighting!!"  Hajime try's to reason with them as Akane attempts to kick Nekumaru again, "We're not fighting!" "We're sparring!" Nekumaru finishes Akane's sentence. "Maybe NOT do it HERE!" I yell, they both stop, bowing their heads in apology. I scoff as I turn to leave to hear footsteps echoing through the tunnel as they grow closer. Everyone alright?" Sonia asks looking at all of us, "Yup, we're fine." I scoff at Akane's remark. Kazuichi pops his head from behind Sonia smiling at me. "Is everything alright here?" Sonia asks, "Ya, everything's good," I sigh walking past Soda and Nevermind, she has the weirdest last name.

Why is he always around her, nut job, probably is at her beckoning command. Who am I kidding he already is!! I scream in my mind.

My foot steps echoed through the tunnel till another set of foot steps started. "Yo! Wait up, Fuyu," his voice echoed as well. "What do you want, Soda," I scoff, "O jeez, don't be like that Fuyu." Soda grins as we emerge from the tunnel to see the diners lights eliminating it. I storm past the diner past everything back to the bridge and over Soda following behind close. "Fuyu! Man! What's going on?" "Nothing! Just go to your place," opening the gates to the hotel I slipped through the crack. Kazuichi stilled pursued me. I quickly turn around, "Will you leave me alone!" I snap. Soda took a step back, "W-what? Did I do something wrong?" He frantically started asking what it was, "Is it my smell, I swear I showered this morning. Is it my voice I can be quiet I swear, uhh to my teeth scare you-," "No." I cut him off before he shut down due to stress, "None of those things." I look forward at the pool and remember that night.

Kazuichi and I sat by the pool side, talking about nonsense, before Monokuma came out of no where, yelling at us to go back to our rooms. Kazuichi groaned but obliged and began walking back to his room, he turned motioning for me to follow. I blushed faintly, running up to him, "Night, Fuyu." Kazuichi widely smile showing off his shark teeth, "Fuyu?" I asked. "Yay! That's your nickname!" he excitedly exclaimed, I smiled at the name. I nodded, "Night, Kazuichi," "Awwww, no nickname for me??" He pouted giving me puppy dog eyes. I smirked, "Let me think." Kazuichi crossed his arms, "Humf, fine be that way," I chuckled as he walked off to his cottage. I watched as he disappeared into his room,

"Night, Kazui..."

"Hey, Fuyu? You there," Soda haves his hand in front of my face. "Ah- what?" I snapped out of my memory. "Ah, sorry u seemed to be in thought," Kazuichi smiles so sweetly at me I just wanted to hug him and tell him my feelings but he wouldn't feel the same for me. I sigh, "I was," quietly I walked to the side of the pool me and Kazuichi first began to have a friendship. The dark night sky seemed like it never changed from that night. The sound of the hate opening startled both of us. Hajime and everyone from the beach including Sonia, but Kazuichi didn't run after her he just waved at everyone.

Hajime came up and asked why we were still up but we just told him we were about to go back to our rooms. Hajime nodded returning to his room. "So anything you want to talk about?" Kazuichi turned back to be smiling once more. "Why do you care about about me," I ask, Kazuichi seems surprised. "What do you mean?" I evade eye contact, "Why do put up with me? Why don't u just leave me alone like everyone else?" I'm starting to rant, I need to stop. Before I could apologize, I felt a hand on my shoulder, "It's ok, man, it's the same with me." Kazuichi sat down in a lawn chair next to the pool, I sat next to him. "I wonder the same thing about you," Kazuichi's eyes stare at the ground. "Kazuichi, I'm sorry for getting mad, I don't know what happened," I apologize, Kazuichi smiled, "It's ok, Fuyu. I know why you got to upset." My heart almost shattered at the sound of his words. "W-what do you mean?" "You were pissed about Akane and Nekumaru fighting," Kazuichi grins. He's so dense. "Y-ya, sorry," "Dude, ya got to stop saying sorry, never really took you for the one to." Kazuichi pats me on the back. I gave him a reassuring look, he smiled but his eyes looked somewhere below my eyes..... my lips. Kazuichi leaned in before stopping abruptly, "ah-uh s-sorry, I didn't mean," Kazuichi shot back falling back. He reached out grabbing me accidentally bringing me along with him. I landed on top of him, his back must hurt. Kazuichi's face shown bright red, "S-sorry I didn't mean to-" I didn't let him finish crashing my lips into his. Kazuichi's eyes lit up confused, soon deepening the kiss.

It felt so long before we pulled away, it was the best time of my life. Kazuichi huffed gathering air, "You're a good kisser, Fuyu," he smirked with one of his goofy smiles. My face began to turn red remembering I was on top of him quickly sliding to the side. Kazuichi sat up looking over at me, "So-" "Why Are you two still awake?!" Monokumas voice cut through the air startling us, did he see us. "Oh-
Oooooooooohhhh. You to were getting it on?! Ha ha! Maybe it you want to get your bone on you may want to do so privately." Monokuma gestures over to the cottages, one of the curtains ajar, who cottage is that? They quickly move away from the window the glint of glasses shines as they disappear, Peko. "W-We weren't doing any of t-th-thatt," Kazuichi stutters, "Eh, don't have to get all shy on me kid! Pupupupu!" Monokuma laughed winking at us before disappearing, I hate that thing.

I watch the cottages, the sound of the water splashing against the side of the pool made me look in the direction of Kazuichi. He feet were emerged in the pool as we moved them back and forth making small ripples. I stood up reach out my hand to him, "Come on let's go to sleep before that bear comes back," I smile as Kazuichi took my hand. We didn't let go of each other till we were standing I front if Kazuichi's cottage. "Well I should be going," he rubs the back of his neck smiling like a dork. Our hands began to slip, Kazuichi kissed me on the forehead waving me goodnight as he shut his door. I stood there for a moment as my brain processed what just happened before smiling so wide blushing like hell.

"Well ain't with a sight for sore eyes! Pupupupu!" I looked behind me to see Monokuma laughing. Sighing I walked past him to my Cottage, before I shut the door I heard, "Wow, and I thought he was straight! Haha! Peko got a run for her money!" I groaned remembering who was at the window of the cottage. She saw us shit. I locked my door taking off my tie and blazer throwing them on a chair as I collapsed into my bed. My face hit the pillow as I thought. How are we going to act around the others? Are we even going to tell them? Is this going to be a secret? I sigh adjusting so I was facing the ceiling as I slowly drifted off to sleep think of him...
