It's been three weeks, three of the most annoying weeks ever. Brandon treats me like Im the one born three weeks ago. Living with him is definitely the worse decision I made. Yes--worse than lying to my sister about being pregnant by her boyfriend.
"I love you and I love you."I kissed Eliza and Jayce's noses.
The front door shut.
I groaned.
"Are you farting on me Eliza?"I cooed. Jayce cracked a smile."Are you laughing Jayce?"
"What are you doing?"Brandon stepped in my room.
"I'm bonding."I said setting the twins down.
"I've missed them so much."He said sitting on the end of my bed.
Eliza started crying at the sound of her daddy's voice. Brandon picked her up immediately making her stopped.
"You missed me huh princess."
Grabbing Jayce I played with his full head of hair.
"I thought this parenting stuff would be terrible but it's actually pretty great."Brandon said.
"Um...oh."
"I meant I thought I'd be bad at it."
I scoffed."I thought I'd be bad at it."
"You're actually pretty great too, despite how young you are."
"Age has nothing to do with me being a great mom. I think it comes natural."
Brandon laughed."Does it come natural princess?"He cooed to Eliza.
"Have you heard from Kate?"I asked him.
"No, you?"
"No."I said feeling hopeless."I should check on her."I said.
"Aubree you need to stay here, it will all work itself out. She's taking this hard and doesn't want to be around us."
"You keep saying that."I sighed."Did something happen or something?"I asked curious.
"She's just been drinking, the drunk text are getting kinda overboard."
"I'm not trying to take you away, and you and her didn't even know each other."
"It's not that we didn't know each other, Aubree. It's more of that we were lying to her."Brandon said."It's done and what happened, happened."
"I can't just let it go she's my sister."
"She's unstable and you and I should give her the space she wants. Kate is a big girl she'll come around."Brandon assured me.
I'm not buying it though not one bit.
"I'm gonna go bond with them maybe you can do the girly things you do."Brandon said picking Jayce up.
Grabbing my towel I went into the bathroom to take a nice warm bath. The most therapeutic thing in the world. Pretty much the only time I could get to myself. Removing my clothes, I looked in the mirror. My boobs were huge and aside from having twins I have literally no stomach just a small pouch I look busty and weird.
Sitting in the warm water I felt so peaceful I could feel all the bad toxins leaving my body. Once I was done with my bath I went to go make something for dinner.
"Hey I was thinking, we can switch, I'll watch them during the day and just deal with my cases once you're done with school."Brandon said.
"I've already missed three weeks."
