in 2048, a new, rapid disease begins spreading. it's death rate high, doctors work to find a cure. people begin to wear masks, and soon enough realize, that it's the only cure from the disease. within the year, everyone wears mask and the death rate drops drastically. as soon as babies are born, masks are placed over their face, their mothers unable to give them a kiss. children are bought masks with animals and cartoons drawn on them. everyone, everywhere is wearing a mask. however, the next year, doctors discover that some people are immune to the disease, meaning they don't have to wear the masks. and almost every year, more people are born or discover their immunity. they can be heard now.
