Chapter 3

I woke up to laughing Jack staring at me, he had a small smile on his face. He was running his fingers over Easton's necklace. I grabbed the necklace and pulled it away, I stood up walked out the door.

" ummmm missy? What's with you? "
he questioned

I shook my head And walked to the kitchen and looked at eyeless Jack than sat beside Jeff and Sally. Sally smiled at me and played with the necklace, she let it go and looked away. I ate my breakfast quickly than put my dishes in the sink. I went to sit on the couch when all the sudden someone pulled me in to other room, he put his hands over my mouth and stared in my eyes.

" shhhh don't you dare scream " the voice dared " I'm Toby...not here to hurt you or anything just to talk "

He moved his hands off my mouth and wiped his hands on his jeans. I looked at my feet, and walked out.
" I don't want to talk " I muttered
I walked to the front door, I went to open the door when I felt a little girls hand take my two fingers. I looked down and seen Sally holding my hand, I gave her a sly smile. She didn't smile back, I opened the door and walked out with her. I listened to the silence and the crunching of the leafs under our feet. Sally tugged on my hand, she walked me over to the bench.

" sit " she ordered

I sat down, she sat on my knee, squeezing my hand tightly.

" why'd you make me Sit? Why here?" I asked

" i want you to move the leafs beside the tree and put this rose down " Sally ordered once again
She handed my a red rose, I stood up and moves the leafs with my feet. I seen a rock with:

Taken by a beautiful lovely girl but died too young.
He'll be missed.

I read the message on the rock, I started crying. I felt my knees buckle as I fell to the ground. I put the rose beside the rock, and stood up walking back to Sally. I took her hand, walking back to the house. I opened the door, letting go of Sally's hand and running to my room as tears run down my face. I slammed my door and hit the wall as I screamed. I threw my rose vase at the wall. Letting it smash, screaming and crying.

The door rushed open and Eyeless jack and Jeff ran to my side. Eyeless picked me up, laying me in his arms putting my head against his chest. He wrapped his legs around mine, putting one hand on my back, one on my head to hold me there. He rubbed my back as he rocked. He kissed my head as I screamed and cried in his chest.

" get her meds Jeff! " I heard him snarl

I gripped eyeless jacks shirt, I could feel my tears soaking his shirt. I heard my door open again, eyeless jack sat me up and took the water, meds from Jeff. He ground up my meds and put them in the water. He put the glass to my mouth, tilting my head back. The cold water dripped down my throat, the water tasted off due to the meds. Jeff squeezed my nose making me open my mouth, more water rushed down my throat. I coughed and choked. Jeff let go, and eyeless moved the water glass away from my mouth. I leaned against the wall, and closed my eyes. I could feel Jeff's eyelidless eyes staring at me and eyeless looking at me. I looked over, than looked away as I started to cry again.

" get out Jeff!!! " I screamed

I watched Jeff walk out, and close the door. Eyeless reach his hand, his warm hands taking my cold shaky hands. He pulled me on his chest, wrapping around me tightly. He kissed my head and whispered,

" Darling, it'll be alright. Just Calm down or fall asleep in my arms "

I felt my eyes getting heavy, my hand losing its grip on jacks hand. My mind becoming cold and dark. I fell in to a deep sleep, I could still feel his Arms around me. Holding me in a safe place..no one could hurt me now

I woke up in my bed, alone, in the dark. I rolled over, sliding off The bed. I slowly walked to the door And opened it. I walked down the dark hall way, the whole house was a creepy quiet. I walked down the small set of stairs and in to the great room. No lights were on, no talking no nothing. All the sudden there was a loud noise...

" h...h...hello? " I asked

No nothing.
