"I know you're hearing me. I wish you could react", she whispers.

Lying lifeless with his eyes wide opened, all he did was to stare at the starry ceiling. His breath was shallow, barely keeping up. She moved her hand up his cheek, and caressed it with her slender fingers. She released a breath over his azured lips.

"I wish you could kiss me, the way you kissed her, But don't worry, now that you're with me, everything will fall in place eventually." She grinned, her white teeth shining like diamonds, and her eyes shone with a triumph.

The alarm signalled for another dose. Anaesthesia. She picked up the injection, filled it with the transparent drug, and looked at him with her big puppy eyes. Her smile flaunting her innocence, her evil innocence. She breathed in, her mind wandering to the nostalgic galleries of her mind. How much she had adored him always.

Looking at him from a distance, hidden behind the bookshelves was her favourite past time. But those became a mere memory now. The first she felt this clenching pain in her heart was when she saw him caressing her lips, and then - she doesn't even want to remember it now. Ananth was always the popular boy of the college. And once he joined the company, he was even more in demand, the girls always at his feet. But he had eyes for someone else, since a long time - Aranaya, her sweet girlfriend - how cute and cliched there love story sounded.

Sharanya looked at his pale face and smiled to herself. She had him now, all to herself and there wasn't any Aranaya to share her man with, she was cherishing her moments with him alone - isolated from the world.

"I hope you wake up one day to realize that you have been in love with me."

He blinked, he was not in his consciousness. He became a breathing dead - both emotionally and physically. She made sure that Aranaya could not even get closer to her. Oh how will she?

She was lying somewhere in her own pool of blood. The rat might be partying on her flesh. The place was abandoned - one of peculiar reasons of it being their favourite. 'No one will ever find this place, Aranaya', he always said. She smiled to herself, he was indeed true. No one was ever going to find that place, and neither that girl.

The needle pierced his skin, the drug taking him over. She smiled sheepishly. She won this time, and she was triumphing over her victory. She won over her - the perfect girl.

"I don't like seeing you like this, but this is the only way I can keep you here - where you belong. No one can separate us, we'll be together forever Ananth."
