(Beast's pov) 

*Couple days later*

Wanting to take a moment to myself I walked out on the balcony that was connected to my room and stared at the fresh snow that was everywhere.

'I wonder what she's doing now? probably being sarcastic somewhere' I sighed longingly putting my elbow on the railing resting my head on my palm. my thoughts only on an (H/C) beauty.

'What am I thinking!' I snapped up from my resting position and shook my head 'Why do I think about her all the time?' 

"Hello, master how is your afternoon been?" I heard Cogsworth asked from behind me in his posh tone. i turned around and saw him and Lumiere walking into my rooms with polite smiles

Lumiere stopped at the balcony doors but Cogsworths came closer and stood by my leg peering at me curiously. 

I groaned in response to his question, putting my hands on my face in frustration about how much my mind has wandered to her in just a couple of hours.

"Well, your afternoon sounds like it's been wonderful" Lumiere chuckled, hopping closer after deciding to want to talk to us.

I leaned down and gently picked the two up and placed them on the railing so we could have a proper conversation.

"What's making you so upset master?" Cogsworth insisted placing his hand on his chest in a posh manner.

"It's just, I can't think straight because my mind always wanders to her! my heart races whenever I see her smile and I just can't stop smiling around her!" I ranted, huffing and puffing at the end. I turned and looked at the two desperate.

"What is wrong with me!" The two shared a knowing look between themselves with big smiles then turned to me.

"You're in love!" they exclaimed joyously, hugging each other and jumping around "Oh what a joyful day oh joyful day! the Master finally is in love!"

'I'm...... in love?' even though I should have been mad or scared of this, I felt really happy for some reason.

It was like this for a while, Cogsworth and Lumiere prancing around like happy idiots and me standing there grinning until there was some movement from the corner of my eye.

I looking over and saw (Reader) Running over the fresh snow chasing the footrest dog.

She was laughing a lot while running after the dog but she was much slower because she had to hold her dress up which made her trip over and faceplant into the snow.

I was about to make my way down to help her thinking she would be upset but instead, she was laughing and rolling around in it with the dog.

"Well, she is definitely not a lady" Lumiere snickered but he shut up when I glared at him.

"I've never felt this way about anyone" I mumbled looking away from Lumiere, staring off in the distance remembering all the fake girls that would flock around me before I became like this.

"I want to do something for her" I declared "But what?" I asked Cogsworth.

"Well, there's the usual things like flowers, chocolates... promises you don't intend to keep," Cogsworth said while also taking a jab at me but luckily Lumiere cut in.

"Ahh no no no it has to be something very special, something that sparks her interest" after a couple of moments of thinking Lumiere shouted with glee "I've got it!" He jumped down from the railing and dragged me away.

(Thrid person)

Cogsworth watched the two walk away, well more like the massive beast get pushed around by the little candle and sighed.

"God I hope this idea is better than his others" He groaned before jumping down and following.

*Time skip*

(Reader's Pov)

I was minding my business in my room when the beast randomly rushed in and dragged me away outside with no explanation.

"Beast what are we doing out here?" I asked him, peering around the beautiful courtyard that looked even better with fresh snow everywhere.

"Don't worry, it's a surprise!" He said grinning big.

I looked at him uncertainly for a moment then shrugged my shoulders "Ok then" and then off we were again.

It was a while until we were outside of a shack when the beast told me to close my eyes.

When I did he gently grabbed my hand and tried to gently lead me but I could tell how excited he was because he was pulling me along a bit.

"Ok now open your eyes" and when I did what I saw amazed me.

Where he took me was an archery shooting area that had targets set up and beautiful bows lining the wall.

I was lost for words and it made the beast a bit stressed because he asked if I" liked it".

 "Like it?..... I LOVE IT!" I screamed running over to the wall with the bows, grabbing one, some arrows and lining up with a target.

The beast sighed in relief and watched me get into my stance and get an arrow in the bullseye.

"Wow, your good" he told me nodding in approval. I grinned at him before getting an idea.

"Want to do it with me?" The beast nodded and grabbed the stuff and stood next to me "It's my first time, could you help me?" he asked sheepishly which I was happy to help.

I told him all the necessary stuff to shoot a bow and helped him get into the stance getting a bit close which I didn't notice made his cheeks go a bit pink and he ended up shooting in the third area.

The beast yelled in joy and turned to me in excitement which I smiled at. We ended up doing archery until it was time for dinner. I felt a bit guilty by making Mrs. Potts came this far.

"Thank you for teaching me" the beast said smiling at me gratefully.

"No problem it was fun! also now I have someone to do it with, Belle never wanted to learn as she was too busy reading" I grumbled in annoyance remembering all the times I begged her to train with me as a kid.

I heard the beast chuckle lightly which made me look up at him and he smiles down at me.

"Well whenever you want to do it with someone, come find me I will always want to do it with you," The beast said kindly, patting my shoulder lightly and then walked ahead leaving me standing in the snow.

And making me heartbeat go faster.

(I added this bonding scene instead of a library because I have made it pretty clear her interest in archery and thought that it was fitting.)
