I ran downstairs in a hurry. I had to leave before dad wakes up. I have to get to the burrow. I made my way to the fireplace and took out a pouch of floo powder that I kept hidden in my inside jacket pocket. I can't let Dad see it, he'd kill me. Literally. I poured the remaining floo powder into my left hand and threw in on the fireplace base and yelled, "The Burrow!" I felt the warm gentle flames flicker over me and I saw my dad running to the doorway of the living room, trying to grab me away from the fireplace, but he was too late and before I knew it I hit the stone cold floor of the Weasleys fireplace. Molly came jogging through to see who had decided to enter her home at 4:30am.
"Katie, my dear girl what are you doing here this early?" She asked astounded. But I didn't need to explain, the look on my face gave it all away when I burst into tears. She came over and hugged me, sitting me down on the sofa.
"What did he do this time?" She fondled.
"H-he hit me a-and he w-was d-drinking and he tried t-to force me to s-sleep with someone fo-f-for money" I choked back the tsunami spilling from my eyes.
"My goodness! I have never heard of a muggle so disgraceful! You didn't do it did you? You didn't sleep with that man?!" She questioned, getting worked up. I shook my head.
"No, that was arranged for tonight, that's why I came here. I would've gone to Hagrid but he's been busy with Sirius and the order. I'm very sorry I don't mean to be a bother," I replied.
"Okay good and you could never be a bother! Go head up to Fred and George's room. They are the only one with a spare bed at the moment. Harry's with Ron, Hermione with Ginny and you know what Percy is like about sharing rooms," she smiled.
"Thank you Molly their room is always the most fun anyway," i suddenly noticed how that sentence would of sounded to Molly. "Um I mean with pranks and their schemes" I hurriedly added on. Molly just laughed and carried my stuff up to the boys room. I lay down and took a deep shaky breath. I'm never going to sleep, that's for sure. If I do then the nightmares would start. I don't like the nightmares.
