|Chapter 3| Subdue

'How' Sophie wondered 'In five minutes have we already managed to screw everything up?' 

They had watched the humans, hidden beneath the shadows and the illusions of a vanisher until a simple mistake; Bianas vanishing had slipped for one second revealing her, Sophie, and Fitz. But it had been enough for the humans to point their loaded guns at them and tell them not to move.

She had decided, perhaps in a lapse of judgment, to transmit to Tam to reveal him and Keefe. The humans had barked orders out that Sophie translated via transmitting seeing as she was the only one who was fluent in English.

So that is how she found herself with her hands on the back of her neck just wishing she could teleport away. But she needed momentum. And she had none. Perhaps they should have stayed hidden. 

Better the humans think themselves insane rather than this. 

She felt a rough calloused hand grab her arm and straighten it out. She felt the prick of a needle, and when she turned her head to see a blue liquid being injected into the veins in her arm. Understanding came quickly. It was a sedative.

The black spots came quickly dancing over her vision like a ballerina on stage. Wooziness made her fall to her knees, yet she still tried to fight the cold and vast darkness that was looming over her. She heard unintelligible taunts that sounded like Brant. 

She was aware of ropes tying her hands behind her back and she tried to struggle but she couldn't. The darkness was to strong. Her echo seemed to stirr for the first time in years but miraculously Sophie kept it down. 

One small miracle.

But this was to similar to her kidnaping for her to handle. She stopped struggling and before she slipped into the sea of darkness she heard a familiar voice calling her name. It was Fitz.

'I'm sorry' she thought then let the black finally engulf her.

So that was chapter three. I have finished legacy and thankfully nothing has changed my plot. I will though likely be ignoring what happened because I do think some things may cause problems later on. But I tried to keep this chapter spoiler free. See you guys soon!
