The Next Day

~~~ 3rd persons ~~~

The sound of birds chirping and the subtle murmurs of the neighbors outside indicated the start of a new day. The sun had shown through the blinds on your bedroom window and directly onto your face. You slowly fluttered your groggy eyes open and tried to look around the room. Before you can take a glance; a familiar arm that was wrapped around your waist pulled you in closer. the intoxicating scent, the body warmth, and the firm but comforting hands could only be from one person. Your boyfriend Kiri. Everything felt... perfect. Like nothing could ever disturb you. Until a knock came from your bedroom door.

*Knock Knock* Your mom cracked open the door and glanced inside. "Oh my, look how adorable you two are!"

You hastily sat up and tried to cover up the both of you. "M-m-mom!" 

The loud noise coming from his boyfriend made Kiri ready for action within seconds. Although after seeing the situation he then lowered his hands. 

"Oh! good morning mom!" ecstatically spoke Kiri. "thank you for letting me stay the night in your home!"

"Well, your family now Kirishima so it's no problem at all". "You two should get ready, it's a nice day out and if the two of you don't mind I have some things I'd like you to go get at the store. your mom takes an observant look around your bedroom. "But before that, I'll let you clean up your first" Your mom spoke and think giggled as she closed the door and headed into the other room.

You look around and see its a total mess from last night. clothes everywhere, pillows on the floor, and sheets spread about. Your face when bright red and flustered while Kiri was chuckling and scratching the back of his head at the realization as to what your mom meant. 

About thirty minutes had passed since then and both of you arrived at the store. You had a slight blush which was entirely noticeable while Kiri held onto your hand as the two of you walked around and checking things off the list.

"Hey (f/n)" said Kiri. "Why don't we grab a bite to eat after this. I saw this cute little cafe on the way over here. 

You put the last item from the list in the bag and spoke. "You had me at food, Kiri" You gave him a little peck on his cheek which gave him his big goofball smile. He then embraced you in an enormous hug and spoke into your ear. "I don't know what I would do without you". 

"Well". You spoke "guess I just gotta stick close to you then". You both looked into each other's eyes for a moment and then parted. 

As the two of you walked to your next destination, you noticed that the clouds began to collect and droplets of rain began to appear. Within seconds it became a downpour. Both of you rushed into the cafe which Kiri pointed out earlier. Kiri noticed you were shivering a little and took off his jacket and wrapped it around you. The scent of your beloved engulfed and relaxed you. 

"Why don't you stay here (f/n)" said Kiri. I'll go get something hot to eat and drink" You nod your head in agreement and looked out at the downpour. 

Kiri was conversing with the worker and placing his order. The murmurs of the cafe vibrated around the room and the scent of fresh coffee wafted in the air. Suddenly, as if it came out of nowhere, an explosion of smoke filled the room. The frantic screams of those in the room arose at the sudden shock. A few rushed out the front door which allowed the smoke to follow with them. Kiri was searching through the smoke for you but with no luck. "(f/n)!! (f/n)!!!" The smoke cleared somewhat and Kiri only slightly heard muffled sounds coming from behind him. He quickly turned and the feeling of panic shifted to anger. Through the smoke, A tall dark figure could be seen holding a hand over your mouth a knife in the other by your neck. 

Kiri quickly ran towards the figure who was holding his lover hostage. Within only a few feet away, a new wave of smoke came out of nowhere which would cause Kiri to be set back and lose his barrings. He heard footsteps heading to the left of him which he raced towards. Kiri would then find himself out and behind the shop by using the emergency exit. He frantically searched around him but with no luck. Kiri, who was now soaked from the rain, punched the wall and let out a bellowing scream of anger.

So hopefully this isn't that sloppy. I finally had some motivation to write again! Thank you to those who took the time to read and hopefully I get in my groove to write more. New ideas are definitely coming to me ;)
