Our Life Together

AHL part 8

We all gathered to meet Tony and Nate and to show how much each team made. Namjoon and Yoongi made 550. Taehyung, Hoseok, and Jin made 450. Me, Jimin, and Jungkook ended up making 1000. All the boys said wow and I gave a dramatic bow.

We asked if it was actually going towards our concert. Tony told us this wasn't the case. We were actually going to help the less fortunate on Skid Row. We were a bit apprehensive, as were were told that isn't the greatest of places, but we all agreed it was a very good thing to do for them.

We went and bought food as well as water then headed to Skid Row. We walked around handing out what we had bought and listening to words of encouragement from each person we gave to. I silently cried as I listened. It was like a smack in the face with how hard their words hit. Their words meant more than I could have realized. When we finally headed back to our dorm I felt drained but I also felt like I had become better from their words.

It was our final week in LA which meant it was time for the concert and we were beyond ready for it. Before that though we had to prepare our concert. I was actually the first one up due to my excitement, so I helped Tony and Nate wake up the boys. They talked to us for a bit then let us go do what we needed. After getting dressed the boys gathered on the couch while I sat in front of Jimin so he could do my hair. We all discuss how we want the concert layout to be and when each team would perform what they learned, along with what songs we would sing. Soon enough the 3 younger boys were chosen to promote the concert. Even though I am part of the maknae line, I opted to help the older boys clean the dorm. When it got a bit later we gathered again to finalize our show. Butterflies remained in my stomach the whole time. Before we knew it the time for the concert had come.
