Merlin: Arthur Finds Out

Chapter 1: Revealed

"Come on Merlin lets go." Arthur shouted seeing Merlin just standing there with Morgana's knights coming around the corner

Merlin and Arthur then ran down the halls and just as they were about to escape Morgana's knights cornered them in. They were trapped. Morgana's knights just stood there surrounding the two men, pointing their swords at them as ordered by morgana.

Merlin knew he what he had to do. He knew that they were going to die. Arthur was about to start fighting with the others when Merlin then spoke.

"Arthur. Don't." He said in a calm warning tone of voice

"What do you mean don't?" He asked confused and annoyed then he continued "they're going to kill us." Arthur said annoyed and frustrated

"Just wait a few seconds." Merlin said

"You're going to get us killed idiot." Arthur said in a low annoyed voice just loud enough that Merlin could hear him

Morgana then came around the corner. It was now or never; Merlin took a deep breath, put his arms out, hands facing the direction that he wanted to use the spell in then he said the spell in his usual voice loud enough that Arthur could hear, all the knights flew back then he did the same with Morgana.

When Arthur saw Merlin doing this he felt confused and angry and he just frozen and it belt like an out of body experience. All these years Merlin had lined to him. Merlin was not who he said he was. What

"Let's go." Merlin said to Arthur who was just standing there frozen

When Arthur didn't move Merlin grabbed his right arm "come on." He said loudly and panicked as morganas other knights started to come after them.

"ARTHUR LETS GO." Merlin yelled to get his attention as Merlin started to run

Arthur snapped out of his daze and when he realized what was happening he ran too.

They continued to run and move as far away as possible from where Morgana was. When they got to a safe distance away from Morgana. It was now mud evening it would soon be getting dark

"Arthur I...." Merlin was interrupted by Arthur

"Merlin don't." He said slightly firmly putting up his had

Arthur then looked around they were sheltered, there was a stream close by and overall everything seemed to look good for the night.

We'll stop here for the night." Arthur said

"Yes sire." Merlin said, in a way Arthur was slightly surprised that he used one of his titles instead of his first name or one of the nicknames.

Merlin and Arthur moved a lot over to where they were going to set up camp.  After that Merlin set up a campfire. He was trying to light it when Arthur spoke as he was sitting on log.

"Why not use magic?" Arthur questioned

"I don't know." Merlin said not looking at him

"Use it." He said

Merlin set down what he was using to try to make a fire next to him on his left. Then he turned back to the fire. He looked at it, his eyes turned gold,  a flame sparked and there was a fire.

"Feels strange." Merlin said a little quieter then his normal voice

"Same." Arthur mumbled

Hours Later:
That night Arthur couldn't sleep he kept thinking about Merlin having magic. So many questions were racing through his head. Why did he come to Camelot where the use of magic could get him killed? When did Merlin get his magic? Was he hiding anything else?

As his thoughts went through his mind, Arthur heard something behind him. He slowly turned over from his right side to his left and saw Merlin waking away. Where the hell was he going? He decided to follow him.

Arthur slowly got up. He walked far enough behind Merlin that he wouldn't hear him but close enough that Arthur was able to hear and see what was going on.

Eventually Merlin was running and yelling gibberish words. Then Merlin walked into a clearing. Arthur hid in the shrub.

After waiting a few moments something landed in front of Merlin. It was a dragon. But hadn't the dragon died? What was that idiot doing, he would get himself killed. He wanted to go after Merlin but he decided to stay put because he wanted to know what happens when he's not around. Arthur snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Merlin speak.

"Thank you for coming." Merlin said sounding and looking upset

The dragon looked at Merlin for a moment "young warlock, what's wrong?" The dragon asked

When Arthur heard the dragon speak his eyes widened. "Dragons speak?" He thought He continued to listen.

Merlin looked down for a moment then back up at Kilgharrah and spoke.

"Arthur knows....Arthur found out i have magic. I'll be executed and my destiny will never come to pass.Kilgharrah what do I do?" Merlin said

"The dragon had a name? What in the world was going on?" Arthur thought

"Ah, i see. You need to have more faith in the young king. He's shown a few signs of kindness to the Druids and others. But his hatred for magic comes from his father. you must continue to guide him, like the moment you became his servant." Kilgharrah said

"Well I don't think that will happen I mean he's barely spoken to me since the incident and when we get back to Camelot I'll be executed." Merlin said

"You shouldn't give up that easily. It's your job to keep him safe, to keep Camelot safe. It's your job to make sure that the prophecy comes to pass. Merlin you always find a way to make sure that everyone's safe no matter how small or how large the job is you always find a way. Your time is near you must be ready young warlock. You and Arthur will bring Camelot into the golden age. But be warned there will be obstacles a head for both you and Arthur." The dragon said then he flew off

Throughout the conversation Arthur had gotten more and more questions. What prophecy? What did the dragon mean by Merlin and him would bring Camelot into the golden age? What obstacles? Did Merlin really think that he would be executed? he didn't even know what he was going to do. There was to many questions and not enough answers. Merlin would have to explain when they got back. He then hurried back to make sure that he was back in time for Merlin to get back

Merlin then also headed back to camp.
