Freshmen year of high school is now over! Everything that I went through this year was over. Three months of summer here I come! Camping, shopping, water parks, ice cream, long movie nights, vacations road trips, and I can do it all with my best friend! Speaking of, I haven't seen Neil at all today. I saw him this morning in the office, but after that I haven't seen him. I looked at my phone and I haven't gotten anything from him either. Weird. I sighed and went to my locker, I gotta clean it out of all my personal things before going home. I sighed and opened my locker and started to get my photos and old notebooks in my backpack. I got everything out of my bag and started to head to the exit. Maybe he's outside waiting for me. This isn't like him, he's never missed the last day of school. I went outside and looked around. Nothing. I looked at my phone again. Still nothing. I huffed. What the hell? Did I make him mad without realizing it? I found my moms car and got in.

"Hey have you heard anything from Nate?" I asked looking at Mom. She shook her head.

"Do you want me to drop you off at his place?" I nodded.

"If you don't mind." I said softly. She nodded and drove off. I sighed softly. Where would he have been today?

"Was Nate as school?" I shook my head.

"No, and normally he calls or text me if he isn't going to be there. I got nothing from him." I sighed and leaned back into the seat. "We had this whole summer planned out, I hope nothing changed on his end." Mom sighed and we got to Nate's house. I didn't see any of the cars there. Weird. Did they go on a early vacation?

"Do you want me to wait?" Mom asked gently. I shook my head.

"No I'll be home later." I said getting out of the car. Mom nodded. I went to the front door as she walked away. I knocked on the front door and waited for a little bit. Nothing. Weird. I got into the flower pot and grabbed the key. I unlocked the door and went in shutting the door behind me.

"He-" I froze when I notice that the house was empty everything was gone. What he hell?! I ran around the house. This has got to be  joke! It wasn't... everything was gone... he.. he didn't even tell me! That jackass! I can't believe this! I'm going to make his life a living hell when I see him again. I can't believe he didn't tell me... tears gathered up in my eyes as I tried not to cry, but I couldn't stop them from falling. I can't believe he left me. Alone. To fight for myself. How could he? I'm his best friend. Best friends don't do this to each other. Do they?
