Chapter 4

".....I....I really like you, but not in a bestfriends way...i like you more then that. But before you say anything let me finish okay?" I sat there stunned at what just came out of my bestfriends mouth. He likes me back? I nodded quick and he continued. "I don't want to make things awkward, but I need to get my feelings out there. I know you probably don't feel the same way but I can forget about my feeling and we can just be friends...actually I never should have told you..I'm sorry Kayls! I just have ju-"

I cut him off by pressing my lips to his. At first he was surprised, but then he began to kiss back. I pulled away and looked into his deep blue eyes.

"Don't worry, I like you too." His face instantly lit up and a huge grin stretched across his face, showing his braces. He sure can pull off braces. I smiled back, and wrapped my arms around his neck, his hands slid around my waist, and he pulled me closer.

"Where does this leave us then love?" Niall asked me. I smirked a little and got up, heading towards the bunks. I turned around to see Niall looking very confused.

"I don't know...goodnight Horan." With that I left and headed towards my bunk, not bothering to change. And laying down. I heard the sounds of 4 other teenage boys snoring. My mind went over all of today's events.

Niall liked me the way I like him. But where does this leave us? Will we date or just let or feelings slide? My mind went through the same thoughts as I drifted off to sleep.

I opened my eyes, and looked over at the clock, checking the time. 8:37. I didn't hear any noises so I assumed the boys were still sleeping. I carefully climbed out of bed and headed to the kitchen to look for something to eat, trying not to make a sound.

I opened the fridge to find, nothing. Nothing I want to eat anyway. I figured I would just head out and get some breakfast. Before I could move to sit on the couch I felt 2 warm and strong arms wrap around my waist. I didn't even have to look, I knew who it was.

"Good Morning love." Niall said softly as he kissed my cheek. I smiled.

"Morning"

"I thought we could go out for breakfast yeah?"

I nodded my head. "Just let me get changed."

He let go of my waist, allowing me to head over to my suitcase and grab a pair of skinny jeans and a black Hollister top I got from my trip to America for school. I went into the small bathroom and changed, then I quickly pulled my hair into a French braid. I put on some eye liner and mascara, then brushed my teeth.

I walked out to the Sitting area to find Niall already changed into a loose red tank, beige shorts, and white supras. His hair gelled up. Wow...he looked good. He looked more than good.

"Ready to go?" he asked, getting up on the couch now, and breaking me from my trance.

"what about the other boys?"

"They can feed themselves!" He said before grabbing my hand and pulling me off the bus.

He didn't let go of my hand like I thought he would, instead he repositioned his hand, intertwining our fingers. I blushed and looked to the ground so he wouldn't see. We walked to a diner, talking about old times on the way, not getting caught by paps.

We ordered and ate fast. Laughing the whole way through our meal. Man I missed him. He insisted on paying, and then he grabbed my hand, and started heading the wrong way.

"Uhm Niall? Tour Bus is the other way...." I said, slightly confused.

"I know, we're going to the park!" he said happily. I shrugged and laughed a bit as he dragged me down the busy street.

Soon we came to the park, and he sat down on the bench. I sat beside him. He looked over at me, a big grin on his face.

"uh Niall...why are you so happy?" I asked while laughing a little.

"I'm just so happy to have you back!" he sighed. I admit, I missed him all to much after he left.

"Happy to be back!" I replied. He let out a slight chuckle. I loved his laugh.

"Kayls?" he asked quietly. I nodded my head, wanting him to continue.

"Yeah Niall?"

"Race ya to the swings!" he called, taking off. He was fast, but I was faster. I ran ahead of him, and made it to the swings first taking a seat. Nearly a second after he stopped I front of me, panting.

"Dammit, I was hoping you slowed down a little over the past few years!" he called, still panting.

"You wish! Now push me!"

I walked behind me, and began pushing me, making me go higher and higher. We just talked, taking turns pushing each other. Although I had a little trouble pushing Niall. Then we walked over to the bench again, taking a seat.

"You know Kayla, what I said yesterday about liking you...was all true." I thought for a second before nodding.

"I know Niall, so was I." I looked up into his shockingly blue eyes. They had a twinkle in his eye that I knew was only there when he was happy. Grabbed my hand.

"Kayla will you be my girlfriend?" I was shocked, sure he said he liked me, but i didn't think hed actually want to date me. He was famous, good looking, extremely sweet, and funny. He could have any girl in the world, and he wanted me, his childhood bestfriend. I grinned massively.

"Yes Niall!" He put one hand on my cheek, and I out my arms around his neck. He leaned in, until our lips were touching. Our lips moved together as the butterfly's went crazy in my stomach.

We continued kissing until a flash and people calling nialls name interrupted us. We broke apart, and looked up, to find the paps.

"Is this your new girlfriend Niall?" one shouted.

"Niall they got a picture!" I said.

"Shit I am so sorry Kayla!" I shrugged.

"I don't care, I feel sorry for you! You probably didn't want them to know about me!" he looked at me in shock.

"Why wouldn't I? If we both don't care, why hide anything?" he asked. He had a point. I just shrugged, and he grabbed my hand as we walked back towards the bus. The paps asking about me, and snapping pictures the whole way. He had admitted to the paps that we were dating, then he just ignored the rest of the questions. As we entered the bus, the boys all looked up, and smirked.
