James pull his car infront of my house. I saw that there was already a car on the porch. And that car belongs to one and only mason. What is he doing here. Was he worried about me.

First James got out of the car and held out my door like a gentleman. I came out and saw Mason was standing near the gate of my house with a frown.

" James, what the hell are you doing here " . Mason said. What , do they know each other.

" Mason, What are you doing here? " James asked with a confused face.

" I am Tessa's boyfriend " mason said.
What is happening here? In this morning he didn't want to accept that I like him and now he is calling himself my boyfriend.

" I am not your girlfriend " I answer with all my remaining strength. What does he want from me, is the given pain not enough that he wants to rub salt on it.

" How do you know each other " Mason asked, totally ignoring my statement.

"How about you tell me, how do you know each other " I asked.

" He is my cousin " Mason replied.

" Now tell me, where did you meet other" Mason said.

" We met at the cafe at the empire street, she called her mom and friend but no one answered, so I offer to drop her. " James said.

" Now you've drop her, you can leave " Mason said rudely.

" Mason, shut up "I scold him and turn towards James and tell him to come inside for coffee.

" No, he has to go home. He is busy, right james. " Mason said.

" Don't listen to him James, he can be rude sometimes " I said to James while glaring at Mason. Why is he behaving like this. Can't he see that he hurt me enough.

" Yeah sure, I don't mind a coffee " James replied with a big grin and I give him smile in return.

" I never seen you in our school " I said as I made my way to the door , I took out the key from my pocket. Totally ignoring Mason.

" I go to St. Louis school , near at empire street. So, you and Mason are classmates. " James ask.

"Yes, we are " I reply him in shortest answer .

Mason was silent the whole way to the living room. I was quite relaxed now knowing that he is not going to start a fight with James.

I take out two coffee cups and make my special coffee . Mason loves it, he says that my coffee is the best. I don't know when but my one tear slide from my eye to cheek. I know ,I was over analying things, but I can't seen to forget the looks of Mason gave me, when I confess about my feelings.
I am stronger than this. It will stop, the pain will stop ,I know.

I come out of kitchen to see that mason is behaving or not. Mason was sitting on his usual place, the corner of the sofa, where he can put his legs on the table. He is unbelievable.

I clear my throat to make my presence known. They both look at my side. I raise my hand to gave the first coffee , Mason and James both take out their hand and then they look at each other. Mason give a icy glare to James , he stand up and take the coffee from my hand. He was doing this on purpose, he is trying to make a point that, he is not liking this situation in which I invited James in my house. I don't understand him sometimes, one moment he doesn't even want to reply back about our talk and at the second moment he becomes a jealous type.

" Here, take this James " I give him a smile. I sit down on the single person sit .

" This is the best coffee I've drink in my entire life . How did you made this Tessa " James ask me curiously.

Mason's face got red from anger. Why is he getting angry.

" Can you teach me how to make this ."James ask sweetly. I couldn't say no to him.

" Why not, sure "I replied.

" Okay, enough. If you had finished the coffee then leave. " Mason interrupt our conversation.

" Sorry, he is not in a good mood " I said apologizing to James.

" James let's go, I will accompany you to the door. " Mason drag James by his sleeve to the door.

" James got to go home, he is urgently needed at home " Mason said.

" Bye James " I said loud enough for him to hear.

I took the cups and put them in the dishwasher. I was waiting for the beep sound. Suddenly someone's hand came from behind, I know immediately it was Mason's. He pull me towards his chest and started to whisper.

" Sorry, sorry, sorry " he said.
I turn around to look at him.

"I didn't say anything in my room because, You deserve someone better, but I can't see you with anyone else. I am being selfish here , you will never be safe if you will be with me in a relationship. Someone is out there trying to find my weakness and I would never let anyone hurt you. " he said so fastly. So that is the reason for his ' no ' , Is he being serious.

" I can only say if ' you deserve me or not ' , understand " I said poking my finger in his chest.

" But you don't know how much danger I am going to put you in , if I start a relationship with you. " he said putting his hands on my shoulder.

" Ok, if you don't say yes to me then I will find someone else to be my boyfriend. Why not James , he seems like a gentleman to me, don't you think " I said trying to provoke him to speak about his feelings. I have to do this, if he think that after that danger topic and deserve thing, I am going to leave then he is an idiot.

" Don't even go there Missy, you know I don't like James " Mason said with a angry look. Why? At one moment he say he don't want me and at other times he is getting jealous of James. I don't know what I'm going to do with him.

" How about this, we make a deal. We will be in a relationship but, not tell anyone about this . We will act like best friends as we used to do . No one will know about it and I will be out of danger as you implied. "I said giving this a last chance and in hope that he say yes.

I finished the whole series of storm and silence in this whole week. Is there anyone who is reading it or read that before.
