Kyler:
I get up from my nap realizing I'm running late for work. I rush into the shower and put on my outfit, its a dark green button up shirt with black pants. Typically I don't wear shirts like these, but it's for work so who cares. I rush to get to work thankful I made it on time and I didn't get pulled over for speeding. I walk in and don't see anyone. Am I early? Did I miss something? Next thing I know a lady named Caren escorts me to the meeting room. I walk and see who I'll be working with. But then I see someone that I go to school with, Chris, who is standing by herself. All of the other workers are people who either graduated last year or are adults. I walk over to Chris and try to talk to her hoping she doesn't snap at me again like earlier. "Uhh hey Chris, looks like we'll be working together." I say with a cocky grin, which was probably a bad idea cause she rolled her eyes at me and walked away from me. I don't see why she's not falling for me, I mean I'm popular, I'm good looking, an every girl wants to be with me, well except Chris. Well since she won't talk to me I go around and introduce myself to everyone. I think I'm going to enjoy working here. Next thing I know an older man walks in and tells everyone to take a seat. There's not a lot of people so there's just enough chairs for everyone. "Hello, My name is Ben, I am the owner of Big Ben's, obviously." He chuckled out. Everyone of course laughs with him. "I am looking forward to working with you all and I am sure that I made the right decision in picking the group that I did," he says then meets with everyone individually or in a pairs and assigns them a task. "Chris, Kyler, come here please." "You guys will be working together, you guys will be working behind the island." He says with a smile. Chris looks at me and bluntly smiles and says she's excited to work with me. "Alright guys get to work." He yells and everyone claps and woohoos. I follow Chris to the long bar and go behind the counter. "So what's your deal?" I ask her. "Nothing I just don't like people who think their higher then everyone else," she says not even looking with me. "What if I said I'm different?" I ask. "Then I'd say you're a liar." She said. I just chuckled at her response and began waiting the people at the "bar." Nine o'clock comes around and me and Chris haven't spoken since are dispute and it was time to close. Everyone cleans up and starts heading home. I go to my truck and try to get it started but it won't start. Chris is just now leaving the store, so I yell, "hey Chris can you give me a ride home? Ill show you how I'm not stuck up like you think I am." "Yeah but I don't you think you can prove me wrong," she yells back. She finishes talking to someone and then comes to her car which I've been standing at for ten minutes now. "What took you so long?," I ask. "None of your business, besides if I told you, you wouldn't care all you care about is yourself." She says dryly with disgust. "Look I don't know what you have in your mind about me but your wrong," I say confidently.
