The "non-humans" had been disowned by the rest of the world for thousand of years. The first ones that were registered were known as witches. This was a pioneer group that appeared in Salem, they thought that their presence could be helpful. But the clueless people were scared of them, creatures able to get in your mind, burn your house or get you cursed. They never gave them an opportunity.

Until 1865, the non-humans were just a story that parents would tell to their kids so they ate all their dinner. But when the gen that made a human have powers started to awake on kids that wer  born from humans, it caused a revolution. Kids were killed when they showed any kind of oddity, sometimes even the parents were murdered so they wouldn't have more kids "sent from hell".

Hiding and being hunted, that was a non-human life. Living in cabins away from cities, keeping themselves save. Their lives were stressing, always afraid of the rest of the world. They wished to be free, they were strong, smart and helpful; they could make everything better. And it wasn't until 1970 when a brave woman stood up for the rights of her race. Since that day the harm towards the non-humans had stopped gradually, they started living with "normal" people. But yet there was always someone afraid of their abilities.

Brooklyn Wyatt, also known as Sensus, wasn't a common guy. He was one of those non-humans. Brooklyn was born with the ability of telekinesis, which meant he could move things or bodies to his desire and, also, read minds. Well, something deeper than reading minds, he could swim in those hidden memories, dreams, forbidden places of someone's mind. He had been told that his powers were dangerous, his family had kicked him away when they discovered what kind of ability Brook had.

But he was lucky to not be alone, he knew people like him, he was surrounded by them every day. One of them was Andy Fowler, Decibel, able to manage and create sound waves that could be use as defense and attack. They both were part of a peculiar group, that had proposed to themselves to serve to their city, this meaning they protected the habitants of it. This happened in an unexpected way, the goverment had noticed that even if there were normal and good people as the blondes, there were also criminals. And for a normal person it was difficult to manage this kind of situations, so they wanted to fight fire with fire. Andrew was called first, and he was the one in charge of looking for people capable to the job. He found great options doing researches and asking some contacts. He first
asked his old friend Sonny Robertson, Polaris, manipulation of the magnetism. Then he contacted with Ryan Beaumont, Camo, able to turn himself in any material he touched. And after this he found this guy called Harper Dark, Thunder, able to sense and control electricity. The way Brook became part of the team was different.

The RT force was already created by the time they found the blonde. They four were attending a case of a really fast suspect. They had been trying to follow the man as they could, but it was hard to stop him once they were face to face. His velocity has stronger than Andy's ability with sound waves and faster than Harper's thunders. The last time they were face to face with him, the team was already damaged, bleeding or about to break down. When the criminal was about to hit Sonny for the last time, the man started floating. They all looked at him confused, he started to descend, but he couldn't move. The sound of a young lad called the group's attention.

-I hope I'm helping- a small, skinny blonde said.

His hands moved slowly as if he was guiding the man's body. A telekinetic. Sonny built up cuffs so the man couldn't escape. They thanked the guy, Brooklyn. Andy saw strength and power in that small frame of Brook. And he couldn't stop himself from asking if he had full control of his powers. The answer was a yes, the same as the next answer he gave to the question "Would you like to help us again?". That's how the young non-human found more people like him, and a group that actually needed him.
