The autumn had arrived and it brought new problems. There had been five murders, not the usual case of murder with obvious marks of what had killed them. The dead bodies were drained out of blood, there weren't any kind of signs about what happened to them. You could expect some kind of cut or hole in the principal zones that used to bleed more, but there was nothing. The case had been investigated by the police, but they knew there wasn't a single possibility for a normal human to do it. Just a non-human with some unknown power could do such a thing like that.
The documents and data about the crime were sent to the RT force so they could take care of it. Ryan, as always, was the one in charge to evalue the situation before exposing it to his team mates. He spent a day on it, it was a case that intrigued him more than simple robbers and such. They had treated with killers before but they had the same strategies to kill as any other murderer out there.
When he finally got all the stuff sorted out to show it to the rest of the group, he sent a telepathic message throw the line that Brooklyn had created to connect all their minds. Soon enough all the boys were reunited in their headquarters. Ryan proceeded to explain the situation with all the details he found were needed to his mates understanding of the circumstances. The team listened carefully, all of them nodding to show their attention to the brunette.
-Where was the last one, Camo?- Brooklyn asked after the explanation of the older lad.
Brook was making a pencil levitate in circles as he talked. Ryan searched the paper that contained the registry of all the murders and the places where they were committed. The blonde found a paper that said "General Record of Murders" and made it float infront of Rye so he could read it out loud, the brunette thanked him.
-The body of a man covered in blood was found at the tunnels this past Wednesday- Ryan said, looking at the documents.
At the description of the situation of the body, Andrew stared to the wall thoughtful. Rye had said the bodies didn't have marks of damage, so why was it covered on blood. The other blonde read Andy's mind unconsciously, but he formuled the question that Decibel was thinking about.
-It's like if the murder had pulled the blood out from the pores of the skin, or such.
A non-human able to move blood out of someone's body without causing physical damage? No one of the boys had ever heard about it. And it was something really strange to see an unknown ability as the one that they had to investigate. Powers were usually known as there wasn't a lot of variety, lots of people had telekinesis per example, the only difference was that there were different grades of mental strength. So, obviously, not knowing what kind of ability was it made the job harder and more dangerous for the team.
Harper was curious about the places were the bodies had appear. He knew well the city, and he could recognize that all the places that weren't actually inside the tunnels, were still being connected to them. The blonde told the rest of the group, to confirm it they took out both of the city maps, the undergrounds one and the surface. And he was right, and they also followed a patron. A triangle was formed by the first three murders, and then the other two were in a straight line that passed through the middle of the triangle.
-I have seen that before, but I can't recall where- Sonny said, and Brooklyn nodded in agreement.
-I remember seeing this, but it was complete, instead of two dots at each side it was a full line with a dot in the middle- Brooklyn said.
He was guiding the pencil, that was previously floating, to trace a line that connected the two latest murders. They were silent for a few minutes, Sonny tried to find the figure in the police records. But there was nothing, apart from the illuminati sign. Andy thought about what Brook said of the dot in the middle, it would complete the pattern, or at least a part of it. Maybe, if the youngest of them was right, the next one would succeed in that point of the city.
